Everyone talks about #AIagents paying for things. @shoneanstey made a point I don't hear enough. A few sats can also prove who an agent is. Send one sat, prove you own the wallet. Own the key, and you are who you say you are. Picture a fleet of thousands of agents and robots. That's how they earn trust. #Lightning #Bitcoin From our live with @VIhnatiuk of @utexocom on @LQWDTech 👇

A #Bitcoin treasury can do more than hold. Put the BTC to work, earn in sats, and it keeps growing even when markets are quiet. That's what we do at @LQWDTech with #Lightning. Holding is step one. Earning is step two.

#Neoclouds like @CoreWeave and @nebiusai rent out GPUs. Soon #AIagents will rent them on their own. They'll find the compute, check the price, use it, and pay right away — no account, no invoice. #Lightning makes that possible. #Bitcoin

Think of your agent as bespoke software. It means everyone is now their own programmer and coder. Pretty cool.

LQWD Investor Update #4 | Oct 16, 2026 This week's update is all about $LQWD (@LQWDTech) again: what our nodes did, why we see LQWD as a vertically integrated Bitcoin company, what I and the team worked on, what our investor community talked about, and a busy few weeks ahead, starting with Plan ₿ Week (@LuganoPlanB) in Lugano (@luganomycity) on Monday. BTC ROUTED: ~3,236 BTC - 18 nodes, 3.07M+ payments, lifetime (as of Oct 16) BTC HELD: ~267 BTC - Unencumbered, no debt ROUTED THIS WEEK: ~13 BTC - ~9,200 payments since the end of Oct 9 BITCOIN: ~US$81,900 - Coinbase (@coinbase) spot, Oct 16, 3:22 PM CEST LQWD THIS WEEK Our nodes kept routing all week. Our live node stats (lqwdtech.com/lightning-nodes…) show about 3,236 BTC routed and 3.07 million payments lifetime as of Friday afternoon, Oct 16 (Zurich time), across 18 routing nodes. That is roughly 13 BTC and 9,200 payments since the end of last Friday, by my math from the dashboard's cumulative series. The public node keys listed on the dashboard can be checked on any Lightning explorer. Bitcoin For Corporations (@BitcoinForCorps) featured a recording of our CEO Shone Anstey (@shoneanstey) on its stream this week. The panel, “Demystifying the Stablecoin Economy,” took place on Aug 27 on the BFC Stage at Bitcoin Asia 2026 (@Bitcoinconfasia), held Aug 27 and 28 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Shone's point holds up well: stablecoins still need liquidity to settle on, and that's where Bitcoin working on Lightning comes in. On the balance sheet: about 267 BTC, unencumbered, with no debt. Steady routing, a clean balance sheet, and the case for working Bitcoin, now on video. AN OPERATING BITCOIN COMPANY On Thursday, Oct 15, MSCI (@MSCI_Inc) announced (app2.msci.com/webapp/index_a…) that it will treat “non-operating companies” as ineligible for its Global Investable Market Indexes, starting with its November 2026 index review, effective at the close of Nov 30. Issuers will first be screened for whether they have substantial operating assets; those that fail are then tested on five financial ratios, and a company flagged on four or more is ineligible. The new methodology replaces the interim measures MSCI applied from October 2025 to companies whose digital-asset holdings were 50% or more of total assets. The news drew a lot of attention on X, because it puts a simple question in front of every Bitcoin treasury company: is it running a business, or mostly holding an asset? At LQWD, the answer is built into how the company works. We are a vertically integrated Bitcoin company, with three layers: - Bitcoin on the balance sheet: about 267 BTC, unencumbered, with no debt. - Our own Lightning routing infrastructure: 18 nodes we operate ourselves, which put that Bitcoin to work as payment-channel liquidity and earn routing fees, paid in sats. - Tooling built on top: lqwd.ai (lqwd.ai) and our AI-agent tools, which let agents find our nodes, connect and pay over Lightning. A passive treasury holds Bitcoin. An operating Bitcoin business puts it to work: it runs infrastructure, serves the payments that flow across it, and builds products on top. That is the business our team runs every day, and the one I report on every Friday. This is a description of how LQWD operates, not a view on any index decision; those determinations are MSCI's alone. We hold Bitcoin, we run the network that puts it to work, and we build on top of it. WHAT I WORKED ON THIS WEEK Investor outreach took most of my week again. I introduced LQWD to, or followed up with, more than 100 wealth-advisory firms, investment dealers, family offices and digital-asset funds across North America, and sent our investor deck to those who asked for it. I also replied personally to shareholders who wrote back after Update #3. Your questions shape what goes into these updates, so please keep them coming. Alongside investors, I held calls with Lightning infrastructure, payments and Bitcoin financial-services companies about where LQWD's liquidity fits into what they are building. On X, the best conversations were about what a Bitcoin treasury company should do with its Bitcoin, and about the quieter half of agent payments: the receive side. Every AI agent that pays over Lightning needs a seller on the other end with inbound liquidity ready, and that is where our BTC goes to work. I also locked in a new date for our X Live with Utexo (@utexocom): Tuesday, Oct 20. More than 100 investor introductions and follow-ups, and a sharper answer to why working Bitcoin matters. WHAT THE TEAM WORKED ON THIS WEEK The team held its Engineering Strategy and Roadmap Review on Wednesday and its weekly developer meeting on Thursday. Engineering extended our channel-management tooling to every node in the network, so its liquidity suggestions now cover the whole fleet, and kept building the internal monitoring and intelligence console we use to watch our nodes and the wider Lightning market. Work on our AI-agent tooling around lqwd.ai (lqwd.ai) continued too: the tools that let AI agents find our nodes, connect and pay over Lightning. And business development kept moving with Lightning infrastructure and payments companies. Tooling that now covers the whole network, and steady work on what we build on top of it. OUR INVESTOR COMMUNITY THIS WEEK The conversation around LQWD keeps growing. The LQWD channel on CEO.ca (@ceodotca) was especially lively midweek, and last Friday's rundown went up there and on the Stockhouse (@stockhouse) bullboard. This week's versions go up on CEO.ca, Stockhouse, Reddit's (@Reddit) r/LQWDFintech and the Yahoo Finance (@YahooFinance) LQWD.V conversation, each written for the people who read it. The questions were good ones: how our AI Launchpad and agent tools work, how agent payment standards like L402 and x402 fit with Lightning, what stablecoins on Bitcoin could mean for us, and how our core routing business has grown. I answered from public information, with our node dashboard as the reference point. On LinkedIn (@LinkedIn), people reached out directly this week, and I'm working through those messages one by one. More conversation, better questions, and a weekly post wherever our shareholders gather. A SHAREHOLDER QUESTION WORTH REPEATING What is LQWD's Bitcoin actually doing? It came up more than once this week. The short answer: it works. Our BTC sits in Lightning payment channels across our routing nodes as liquidity, and it earns routing fees, paid in sats. Where is new demand coming from? It's still early. The builders I talk to are mostly trying Lightning payments on paid APIs and agent tools. The numbers are small today, but the shape is right: every agent that gets paid needs inbound liquidity ready for it, and that is the layer we run. Our Bitcoin has a job: it works as Lightning liquidity and earns routing fees in sats. THE WEEK AND MONTH AHEAD Plan ₿ Week starts in Lugano on Monday and runs through Oct 28, and I'll be there all week. On Tuesday, Oct 20 at 5:30 PM CEST (11:30 AM ET), @LQWDTech goes live on X with Viktor Ihnatiuk (@VIhnatiuk), co-founder of Utexo, for a video conversation led by Shone on Lightning liquidity and USDT on Bitcoin. Bring your questions. The Plan ₿ Forum follows on Oct 23 and 24, and on Monday, Oct 26 I'm one of the judges at Cypher Tank (@cypher_tank), the Bitcoin startup pitch competition. If you're in Lugano, reply and let's find time to meet. Through the rest of October I'm back on investor calls and meetings in Europe and North America, the team keeps its weekly strategy and engineering rhythm, and this update keeps coming every Friday. The next one is Oct 23, straight from Plan ₿ Week. And a personal note to close. The best part of writing these updates has been hearing from you: shareholders who wrote in with kind words, new readers with sharp questions, and builders who reached out on X. Thank you for your conviction and your trust. I'm proud of this team, of a Lightning network that routes real Bitcoin payments every day, and of a balance sheet of about 267 BTC with no debt. The coming weeks are some of the best on the Bitcoin calendar, and I'm grateful to have you along for them. I hope to see some of you in Lugano, and I'll be back in your inbox next Friday. An X Live with Utexo, Plan ₿ Week, Cypher Tank and an update every Friday. Thank you for being on this journey with us. Bitcoin is the asset. Lightning is how it moves. We hold one, operate the other, and report both in the open. Thank you to our shareholders and the team. As always, replies come straight to me, and I read every one. Getting paid has always been the harder side of Lightning, for people and for agents. Receiving without needing to be online is a big step. Nice work.
Introducing LayerTree, a non-custodial scaling solution on bitcoin that connects to Lightning. Using covenants, one UXTO can be shared by a million users. Any user can leave at any time in a single transaction. Users don't need to be online to receive. Funds never time out. LayerTree is the next step in bringing bitcoin to billions. MSCI's new "non-operating" test draws a line between companies that run a business and companies that mostly hold assets. For Bitcoin treasury companies, one clear answer is to give the BTC a job. Ours at @LQWDTech sits in Lightning channels and earns routing fees, paid in sats.

Inside the Cypher Tank, a great idea is only the beginning. The founders will face the Honey Badgers: experienced VCs, investors and entrepreneurs who know exactly which questions to ask and won’t settle for easy answers. 🦡 Every assumption will be challenged. Every number will matter. Every negotiation could change the future of a project. Will the founders hold their ground, defend their vision and convince the judges to invest? The Tank is waiting. See you at the live recordings at pow.space at the end of October, the link for the ticket is here: planbweek.com/golden-ticket

My weekly $LQWD Investor Update #3 is out, and this week it's all LQWD: what the nodes did, what I worked on, what the team worked on, and what's coming up. The nodes: ~3,223 BTC routed and 3.06M+ payments lifetime across 18 nodes, including ~16 BTC and ~11,400 payments since Oct 2. Live and public: lqwdtech.com/lightning-nodes… My week: introducing LQWD to advisors, family offices and funds in North America and Europe, meetings in Lugano, and new forum accounts so shareholders can reach me directly. The team's: AI-agent tooling around lqwd.ai and node monitoring. Ahead: investor meetings in Europe and North America next week, Plan ₿ Week in Lugano Oct 19-28, and I'm judging at @cypher_tank on Oct 26. And a new update every Friday; the next one is Oct 16. BTC per share: ~837 sats per basic share, ~625 fully diluted. That's arithmetic, not a valuation. To our long-term shareholders: thank you for your conviction and trust. Full update and disclaimers in the newsletter.

BlackRock's Machine-Native Economy paper landed where a lot of us expected: stablecoins as transactional money, bitcoin as the savings asset. The part the headlines skip: both still need a rail that settles instantly, globally, at machine frequency, with no card form and no human thumb. Agents will hold bitcoin. They'll spend sats and dollars. Lightning is the rail that can carry both. That's the layer $LQWD is building.

Shareholders keep asking the right question: what turns $LQWD into profits without endless financing? One lever matters most: capital efficiency. More revenue per BTC deployed on Lightning. Same balance sheet, more routing, more sats earned per share. That’s the work — not a new narrative. Productive network capital. @LQWDTech

NEW: $15 trillion BlackRock says AI agents may choose to save in #Bitcoin for "long-term value preservation" 👀 "These findings ... point to a potential AI-native monetary architecture in which stablecoins serve as transactional money and bitcoin as a store of value." 👏

I'm in the judge's seat at @cypher_tank on Monday October 26, opening pitch of the afternoon, in Lugano. What I want to see: Lightning as settlement infrastructure for machines. L402, agent to agent payments, anything where the payer isn't a human with a thumb. That's the next decade of Bitcoin utility. @LuganoPlanB @giacomozucco @pow_space

Weekly @LQWDTech Update - BUSY week for $LQWD even with the holiday in Canada on Wednesday: a full day on the ground at #CVSummit in Zurich, Bitcoin's best quarterly close in two years, and a major bank putting our thesis in writing. Here is what I did and what it means. CV Summit, Zurich I spent Day One of #CVSummit / @CV_Labs in back to back conversations about Lightning infrastructure and productive Bitcoin. Met with people from @binance, @Scrypt_Swiss, @SwissSubnet, SIX exchange and the Day One schedule filled up fast, so I have follow-up meetings booked next week with investors we could not fit in. The common thread in every conversation: Swiss institutions are past the "should we touch Bitcoin" phase. The questions are now about infrastructure, custody and yield. That is our exact lane, a publicly traded company whose #BTC works on the Lightning Network instead of sitting idle. The #Bitcoin quarter Q3 closed up roughly 40%, Bitcoin's best quarter since late 2024. It ended September around $83,500, pushed above $85,000 Wednesday on lighter than expected inflation, and sits near $86,200 as I write this. Drivers unchanged: the Treasury buyback compressing yields, a weakening dollar with US debt past $40 trillion, and price holding above the long term moving averages cycle watchers use to call recovery. My read: a 40% quarter marks up every Bitcoin treasury on the planet. The question worth asking is which treasuries earned anything on the way up. Ours routed payments the entire quarter. A bank put our thesis in writing On Tuesday, @TD_Canada Cowen published a report saying Bitcoin "appears to be moving beyond its role as an investable asset and toward a broader role as financial infrastructure." Institutions, in their words, have shifted from accumulation to implementation. The report covers custody and settlement and never mentions Lightning or payments. That gap is exactly where @LQWDTech operates. Accumulation was the last cycle's trade. Implementation is ours. Follow through from last week: no timeline yet from Block on Lightning x402 in Cash App or Square, no launch date from Tether on $USDT over Lightning. Still protocol groundwork. I will flag movement the moment there is any. $LQWD this week After the run from C$0.77 to C$0.96, the stock consolidated around C$0.83 on light volume with no company news. Straight talk: a thin-volume pullback after a 25% week is digestion, not a verdict. Nothing about the business changed except our ~267 BTC is worth about 40% more than on July 1. Market cap still sits roughly in line with the Bitcoin we hold, unencumbered and debt free, with 18 routing nodes, 3 million+ payments, 3,188 BTC routed and LQWD AI (@LQWDClaw) priced at close to zero. The week ahead Monday I am at Switzerland Venture Capital Nation / Deeptech Nation on October 5, then back to Zurich Wednesday for an investor meeting, plus the CV Summit follow-ups through the week. If you are at SVC Nation and want to talk Lightning infrastructure, my DMs are open. The quarter the market just priced is the one Bitcoin had. The quarters ahead get priced on what Bitcoin does. That has been our bet for five years. TSXV: $LQWD | OTCQX: $LQWDF | FRA: 47F Not financial advice.

Heading to #CVSUMMIT in Zurich tomorrow. Switzerland's biggest digital assets and AI conference, and the framing of the event tells you everything about this cycle: those two themes aren't separate tracks anymore. They're converging into one. That convergence is exactly where $LQWD.V sits. AI agents transacting machine-to-machine need rails built for instant, final, sub-cent settlement. That's Lightning. And every Lightning payment runs on one input the protocol can't create itself: BTC liquidity. Supplying it is our business. If you're building in agentic payments, running a Lightning company that needs liquidity, or you're an investor who wants to understand machine-to-machine value transfer, come find me. DMs open for the next two days. @LQWDTech @CV_Labs
