Today, Yud Alef Nissan, is the 124th birthday of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, my personal mentor, the foremost Jewish leader of the modern era, & the individual most singularly responsible for the resurgence of Judaism after the Holocaust.

I was honored to serve as chaplain in Congress, especially on Chai Elul, such an important day on the Jewish calendar. No greater patriot exists, and no one who better understands the blessings of America than the Lubavitcher Rebbe, my personal mentor and the foremost Jewish leader of the modern era. I was humbled to represent him. Thank you to my friend @RepAndyBarr for the invitation, and @SpeakerJohnson for his hospitality and generosity of spirit. America is blessed by their leadership.
It was an honor to welcome Rabbi Shlomo Litvin, a constituent and respected faith leader in our community, to the U.S. Capitol recently to deliver the Opening Prayer before the House of Representatives.

Today, the 11th of Nissan, we mark the birthday of the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
The Rebbe鈥檚 figure serves as a constant compass of uncompromising Jewish responsibility and unconditional Ahavat Yisrael.
Rav Adin zt鈥漧 saw the Rebbe as the catalyst of a powerful revolution: the demand that no individual suffice with their own spiritual growth, but rather go out, elevate the world around them, and transform every dark corner into a place of light.
On this day, we don鈥檛 just remember a great leader; we reawaken to our own mission - through study, action, and building bridges across the Jewish people.

Today, the Rebbe's birthday is celebrated by the US President, declaring today Education and Sharing Day in honor of the Rebbe, as well as by leaders in every state and dozens of countries.
