First you over dedicate then you notice that you’re great, and you’ve been the whole time, then it slaps you in the face.

Stroud is the offensive POW, they trade a 2nd for MHJ, the full allotment of WR's for the first time all year, you have one (real) healthy RB...
...let's play out of jumbo 41% of the time!
Could’ve still been a guy for Houston.
Replying to @Texans_Thoughts
Singletary is most DEF a keeper for me, 2 year deal, slight pay bump, he basically played as a legit RB1 with no backup, when he should be a change of pace RB2 at best. Him and Saquon and a legit draft pick like a Marshawn Lloyd would be a TERROR of a backfield.

Currently listening to @SeanTPendergast and @SethCPayne give the "5 hallmarks of a poorly coached team" on @957thefan.
So far:
1. Excessive penalties ✅️
2. Repeating the same mistakes ✅️
3. Poor situational football ✅️
4. Poor game management ✅️
5. Losing to less talented football teams ✅️
Hm.. looks like the Texans went 5/5 on this one. 👀
We’ve JUST watched Ben Johnson play 3 different QBs week to week, and the offense didn’t miss a beat, it adjusted a lot depending on the QB, but was still lethal. That’s football.
Not this “regime” they got going in Houston.
I feel like the Texans are close but need a legit GM/HC/OC/DC? All of the couches are a complete joke.
Demeco could be salvageable if he simply hires a respectable DC.
I thought Caley was maybe turning a new leaf, but he is who he is, and he’s not decent, consistently.
Imagine prime Patriots asked Tom Brady to win the game running the triple option, instead of allowing him to make adjustments and insane throws.
Makes no sense right?
Or Nebraska asking Tommy Frazier to win with the RunNShoot.
Silly right? Same thing.
Team’s know Lassiter’s weakness, and that his HC/DC can’t adjust to help him out, so they abuse him.
In turn, he gets bad talked relentlessly. Folks never see the full context tho, bcuz God forbid you criticize the limitations of Demeco.
And again? Xavier is probably one of the best WR6’s in the league, especially at the price he’s at.
But when you force him to be WR1 and neglect the better options, he’ll naturally have limitations.
I just hate that so many players get shitted on for bs scheme, like CJ last yr.
Had a sleep on it but still feel Demeco, Caserio and Caley all should go after this season.
Players are not the issue, yes they’re some effort issues and mistakes, but that happens when they see through what you’re selling and you refuse to adjust.
IF Demeco stays, hire a DC.
Brevin Jordan is healthy enough to make tackles and block, he’s healthy enough to get targets. They don’t even use their most explosive TE. 🤦🏾♂️
Lassiter is. it a CB1. There is NO reason he should be so easily scheme by OCs to go against their top 5-10 WR1.
Everyone has the blueprint to beat Demeco’s defenses and he can’t adjust.
Texans feel like the Bears to me, hella talent, just need the right offensive head coach.
Boys told me Kliff Kingsbury wasn’t good enough to OC the Texans, bcuz he had a rough year 2 w/out his starting QB for most of the year.
But guess who would air that motherfucker out and use Marks correctly with this roster?
Demeco Ryans is not even a top 15 Head Coach right now.
I saw through all of it, it was just cover up by superior talent saving them on both sides of the ball.
Boys called me “negative” 2 offseasons straight, but tell me I didn’t call ALL of this bs out way back then.

The Texans were outcoached in every facet of the game by the New York Giants despite entering the game as a 10 point favorite at home.
Their worst performance of the season as they get ready to enter November a 2-5 football team. Simply unbelievable.
Y’all not gonna put this on CJ, that OT drive either.
You have a sassy, “defensive” head coach that’s getting his cheeks exposed and clapped every week, and he can’t adjust.
And an OC that forces run and scared to open the game up until he’s forced to the last 2 drives.
Bad.
