It’s no great mystery why corruption now tops the list of what voters worry about. The Trump family has turned a memecoin and a crypto platform into a billion-dollar windfall, and their billionaire friends are doing just fine. Everyone else is doing math at the pump, where the war in Iran has pushed gas toward $4 a gallon, and again at the checkout, where tariffs add their own quiet surcharge. When the President says “everybody’s profiting,” he isn’t exactly lying. He just has a very short list of who counts as everybody.
