“Hey Jeff. This dude just got out prison and he’s been railing me for the past two weeks. He was crashed out on my brother’s couch when I met him and things just led to another. I showed him the book you bought me and he said that was a nice thing to do. I know he’s not sweet like you but he gives me so many tinglies. Hope you find that special someone.” 😂

Man, we used to have fight parties for De La Hoya vs. Sugar Shane and Tito Trinidad and Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis and Mike Tyson. Barrera-Morales. Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez went to war, man. Now, the whole sport is just a giant joke and it disgusts me. All of it.

Tim Walz is 100% responsible for massive fraud in Minnesota. We let Tim Walz know of fraud early on, hoping for a partnership in stopping fraud but no, we got the opposite response. Tim Walz systematically retaliated against whistleblowers using monitoring, threats, repression, and did his best to discredit fraud reports. Instead of partnership, we got the full weight of retaliation by Tim Walz, certain DFL members and an indifferent mainstream media. It’s scary, isolating and left us wondering who we can turn to.
In addition to retaliating against whistleblower, Tim Walz disempowered the Office of the Legislative Auditor, allowing agencies to disregard their audit findings and guidance. Media and politicians supporting Tim Walz or the DFL-agenda attacked whistleblowers who were trying to raise red flags on fraudulent activities.
This is a cascade of systemic failures leading up to Tim Walz. Agency leaders appointed by Tim Walz willfully disregarded rules and laws to keep fraud reports quiet - even to the extent of threatening families of whistleblowers. These same leaders are not qualified for their jobs, instead getting leadership jobs via Tim Walz’s friendship so state government were left floundering. DFL lawmakers refused to acknowledge fraud and deflected any serious conversation to stop fraud. Biased mainstream media such as WCCO and MPR showed absolutely no interest in covering fraud happening in our own state. Programs, especially in behavioral health and disability services were built without any guardrails against fraud, all in an attempt to extract more funding from legislature and the federal government.
As staff, we firsthand witnessed and observed fraud happening yet we were shutdown, reassigned and told to keep quiet. Sometimes more. Leadership did not want to appear to discriminate against certain communities and were unwilling to take action, such as stopping fraud, that would have an adverse impact on their image. To date, no single agency leader has been held responsible for their role in fraud whether it’s Shireen Gandhi, Jess Geil, Jodi Harpstead, Natasha Merz, Eric Grumdahl or others.
It is a structure created and maintained by Tim Walz who has created an environment of inter-related agencies and institutions including the media - that help foster fraud through retaliation and turning a blind eye in exchange for political gain in the form of high power agency leadership jobs or other perks.
Fundamentally, Tim Walz is dishonest, lacks ethics and integrity, has poor leadership abilities, and has never taken any accountability for his role in fraud. Instead, Tim Walz deflects by blaming national politics for his own failings and distracts the public with inveterate lying. These lies include his reference of a budget surplus under his tenure. Fact is, Minnesota never had a surplus, we had been given federal ARPA funds that were conflated as surplus money otherwise, we’d be in a deficit. And those ARPA funds, which were meant to be temporary funds were used to create more leadership positions for Tim Walz “buddies.”
As such, we can’t fight fraud in Minnesota alone hence why we’re appealing to the federal levels of government. We need all the help we can get as Tim Walz’s agency leaders have upped their brazen approach in covering up their knowledge of fraud.
We are grateful to numerous solid politicians (esp the Fraud Committee) and media outlets who are trying to halt fraud. We are also grateful to other whistleblowers who are bravely stepping up.
Thank You NY Times for bringing the plight of Minnesota to the national stage.

Yep
i suspect that most of what irks gen X is that we had created a fun, freewheeling, post-racial, minimal-politics society, and a bunch of weakminded thieves of joy came along and politicized the world into unfun, identity-based struggle sessions that made everything they touched horrible and divisive.
kids today have no idea how much was taken from them because they have lived their whole lives under wokester warlord hall monitor rule and have never even tasted this joy and freedom.
and it's time they did.

Forgiveness is the hardest piece of healing.
It’s difficult because some people do it too soon and others don’t do it at all or don’t do it completely.
Forgiving too soon, before going through the appropriate anger or hurt and the necessary healing, is a form of self-abandonment.
And never forgiving, and holding onto negative energy around the other person forever, is a form of self-harm. As difficult as it may be in some cases, you are forgiving only for yourself - to free yourself from any hold they still have over your well being. And of course you are not forgetting or letting down boundaries.
So as the final, not the first, stage in the healing process, work to release any energy you are still holding around the other person and also to forgive yourself if needed to complete the process.

As we watch federal district court judges act like little Napoleons, narcissistically denying the constitutional will of the American electorate, it makes me ponder the con job that the legal profession tells about itself.
I’m a second career lawyer, and I went into it as a fully-formed adult so I never bought into the self-congratulatory propaganda that lawyers feed themselves about the awesome nobility and dignity of the legal profession.
The days of Blackstone and John Marshall are long gone. The days of Adam Schiff, James Comey and the accident lawyers with the billboards on the side of the highway are where we are now.
In my experience, almost the entire legal profession is highly unscrupulous in that the actual practice of law means bending the law until just before it breaks, solely for purposes of furthering financial gain or political goals, and without any regard for right and wrong.
There is no nobility in the law in 2025. As I tell clients constantly: “Legality and morality are rarely the same thing.”
Going to law school today is like going to Hogwarts, except everybody is in Slytherin.
These district court judges wrap themselves in the black-robed dignity of a profession that lies about itself to further its own goals.
These judges are neither just, nor noble, nor wise, nor dignified, nor fair, nor even worried about the pursuit of justice.
They are partisan clowns in black robes. They should be required to dress like Bozo the Clown, because beneath those robes, that is who they are.
(Yes, there are many moral lawyers, myself included, but the profession as a whole is undeniably tainted, and these judges are not in the moral group.)

The conditions under which you were chosen define the treatment you will get, not the fact that you were chosen.
You can gaslight yourself however much you want, but the man she could not get and keep, whilst you were waiting on the sidelines (to your knowledge or not), will always remain higher in her pecking order, only anchoring the resentment-fuelled behaviour towards you from your acceptance of her that someone else did not.
Crystallising the fact that you were the backburner guy.
Sometimes you know you were, sometimes you don't.
But she knows.

Indeed. Being the one who was chosen, who won the race, matters much more than one's qualifying position prior to the race.

It does not matter whether she says or not you are her best sex ever, even if that is the case, odds are it is more a manipulation to your ego to make you feel good about yourself and extract more from you.
Male sexual validation is the weakest spot guys have because lowkey many of us define our masculinity through the approval of women, when it is everything but.
Brushing it off should not be an act to appear “alpha”, it is something that genuinely does not hold any value.
Whatever she says does not matter as long as it is not a telltale sign of how you are going to be treated in the future from her original perception of you, or as long as it is used as a yardstick to see if her actions align with her words.
