I look forward to finding how much more tax I’ll be paying this Wednesday to house migrants.

Our country was in deep trouble under his watch — and he didn’t care. He only wants more power and control for his far-left extremist base. His endorsement of Abdul El-Sayed will fail miserably. Very sensible words from Sir Jeremy Hunt (and that’s something I thought I’d never say).
Sir Jeremy Hunt - a former Tory chancellor who campaigned for Remain - says returning to free movement would be a 'hammer-blow' to trying to get people off welfare and into work He says that there is a risk that it paralyses the government because the issue is so divisive, and that there is an unwritten rule that major constitutional issues should only be returned to once a generation He tells @bbclaurak: 'We have 1million people not in employment, education or training. The government says it is serious about getting them back into work. To suddenly say you are prepared to negotiate allowing people from all over Europe to come and take those jobs would be a hammer blow to those plans to get people off welfare and into work. 'Whatever your views are on the European issue - and I voted Remain - going back to that old model where employers were giving jobs to people from all over Europe and we were parking people on welfare here must be a step back. 'When you have to have these big, constitutional debates you have to have an unwritten agreement that you are only going to come back to them once in a generation. Otherwise it is so divisive. 'I was at the top of a government that was paralysed for several years while we were trying to wrestle with the implications of that vote. I think that having made a decision we should stick with it.'

Reminder: The council that runs Oxford Street have been both a Labour and Conservative. Neither did anything to fix the countless money laundering establishments that have taken over. Instead they have spent money on warning signs to not have your phone out in public.

Obama fortified Iran as the world’s largest state sponsor of terror. Trump cleaned up his mess & destroyed them. So now Obama has to tell a complete and total lie.
NOW - Obama says that Iran is "in a stronger strategic position now than before the war started."

I’m with Alex! Let the establishment go fight the war! Or even better send all the fighting aged illegal men to fight for us. They can earn their keep. After all, the government prioritises their well being over our children. You reap why you sow!

🇬🇧 I’d go so my children wouldn’t have to 🫡 I watched Alex Armstrong last night saying he couldn’t fight for his country, followed by a pile-on from the older generation on the panel. I can see both sides. The older generation believes we have a duty to defend our country, while the younger generation is asking why they should risk their lives for a government they feel has treated the working class with contempt. As a veteran who has served on three operational tours, I understand the complexities of military service. I didn’t deploy to Iraq or Afghanistan as a soldier, although I worked in Afghanistan as a close protection officer. I would never presume to speak for those who endured countless tours, lost friends or returned with lifelong physical and psychological injuries. I work with veterans, and I know the sacrifices don’t end when the fighting stops. This isn’t necessarily about young people refusing to defend their country. It’s about a generation who feel their country no longer respects them. Many have been criticised simply for displaying patriotism, yet could one day be expected to put on a uniform and make the ultimate sacrifice. That’s a conversation worth having, rather than dismissing their concerns. Would I fight for my country again? Yes. But not for any government. I’d fight for the men and women standing beside me, for my family and for the generations coming after us. And perhaps this is where my answer becomes personal. I’d rather they sent me than my children. I’ve lived my life. I want my children to live theirs, to marry, have children of their own and grow old. If sacrificing my life meant my children, or someone else’s children, could have that future, I’d do it. So I understand Alex, and I understand the older generation on that panel. Patriotism, duty, sacrifice and trust in government are not the same thing. You can love your country while feeling profoundly let down by those governing it. For me, the answer is simple, even if the question isn’t. I’d go so my children wouldn’t have to.

I will never even vote Tory again never mind rejoin. If you think the likes of Malthouse, Gale or Cleverly will vote to leave the ECHR then you are deluded. They haven’t changed they just want your vote.
