It has a bit of spring action when first opening it that the Z Fold 8 doesn’t have and I think it makes for a better experience too.

I’ve found that I have to open the phone and finish typing when that happens.

Yeah I got offered this. I said no because I just wanted to get my phone and get out of there.

I’m having a tough time getting used to the bar being on the right side of the phone. Keeps tripping me up every time.

I’m all good with a first look. I understand that with a dummy unit. Not usually something I do, but I don’t knock that. I don’t think a full review on a case is honest on a dummy unit though. I’ve experienced multiple cases before that don’t fit properly on a dummy unit but do fit properly on the actual phone itself. This wasn’t a foldable, but still.
