That’s enough X for the day already.
Y’all have fun with everyone making non-optimized apps the downfall of the Duo 🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Looks like Apple shipped half-baked software with the iPhone Duo. Most third-party apps and games still don't offer a proper full-screen experience.
Apple has provided developers with the SDKs and tools to optimize their apps, which is great. But this should have been handled more intelligently at the OS level, just like Android and Samsung do. They don't require every developer or game studio to update their apps just to fit a different screen. The system can automatically scale existing apps to use the available display area. Developers can optimize their UI later, but Apple should have ensured a better out-of-the-box experience from day one.
Hit them lines!!

I think some of you are trying to hype yourself up with the Z Fold 8 because you aren’t getting your duo until the Christmas lights are up.
Am I crazy but why am I seeing larger creators talking about the app optimization like it’s their first rodeo with foldables?!
Man I can’t wait to get this device to start these videos because mannnnnnnnn.
As a creator and someone who loves a good experience, I’ve never used ProRes or Log on my camera.
I just want to take my phone out my pocket, take a picture of my family/kid and put my phone back in my pocket.
Non optimized apps are nothing when it comes to the Duo. Didn’t bother me for the Fold 8 and eventually they slowly start getting updated and I’m sure the same will happen with the Duo and probably even quicker.
I haven’t started watching reviews but I can just about tell you how they are going to go.
Fanboys will be super hype and people who have used other foldables, you’re excited because it’s a first iPhone foldable, but you already know and expected the shortcomings.
As pricey as the iPhone Duo is, there is no way I’m seeing case videos with dummy units. Is it about actually testing what’s good about the case or being first for views? Those videos are nothing but to show how the case looks on the device.
How can you check MagSafe Strength?
How can you test how tactile the buttons are?
The weight of the case/device combo?
How are you testing adhesive placement and stability?
How do you test how snug a fit is on the actual device and not a dummy unit?
Just how?
Can we just be excited for this device and see for ourselves? I get it but today’s video will be exactly about this, don’t let people tear your joy down for this device before people even have them in hand.
The iPhone Duo will expose one of the biggest problems we've had with foldables for years. Heavy foldables phones become a pain. A lot of people use foldable phones closed, and after doing that for awhile they ask themselves, why use this heavy brick closed when I could use a traditional phone with a far better camera for way less money? And they go back to a traditional phone. We are talking about a phone that is like 20% heavier than the Z Fold 8. It's something you will barely notice in quick demos. But it is something that is a MASSIVELY big deal.
The screen protector is a nice trick to avoid the crease reflections, but the crease is nearly as present as it is on the Z Fold 8.
In reality, this is a great foldable, but it's like a Pixel Fold vs a Galaxy Fold 8. The Pixel Fold has water resistance and it is heavier, but it has better durability. There are pros and cons.
So the iPhone Duo will have a lot of pros, and I'm very happy that Apple users will finally get a fun foldable, a great foldable. But it will have cons, and they need to be pointed out. So enjoy the foldables. But please, especially creators, educate your audiences.
It’s some real salty people out here because they aren’t getting the Duo Friday. Folks trying to tear the Duo down left and right.
I’m convinced some of yall just talk to talk 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Here take your meds so you can finally stop throwing a full-blown tantrum. We get it you hate Apple. 💊💊💊💊🤭😂
We’re already late and against the grain being behind the embargo reviews that’s about to drop but what happened wanting the device for the excitement of tech? Everything is view and incentive based these days and that’s what’s wrong with tech YouTube.
Being full-time and the need to get the device early, I get it but maybe just not say it out loud and keep it to yourself.
Not the best look imo when creators come out and keep saying this.
I'm not buying the iPhone Duo if I can't get it on Day 1
I'm not buying it for personal use. I'm buying it to review, test it, and compare it with Samsung and Xiaomi Fold. Getting the device on Day 1 is crucial because that's when the views make it worth the investment. Even then, we often struggle to recover the full cost of the device.
Spending $3,000 on a phone only to receive it a month later makes absolutely no business sense. By then, the hype is gone, the views are down, and the investment simply isn't worth it.

People are losing their minds over adhesive strips on iPhone Duo cases. 🤦🏼♂️
Something we've been dealing with on foldables for YEARS.
Is this really an issue, or are people just discovering foldables for the first time? 😂

Here's What Apple's Apps Look Like on the iPhone Duo macrumors.com/2026/10/20/app…
Love to see these updates coming in for the Duo.
These app devs are going to be on it. Some of these apps aren’t even optimized on Samsung and they have been doing foldable for 20 years.
With all these complaints I’m seeing about the iPhone Duo prior to release, tells me you will see a bunch of returns. People are easily influenced and if they feel a smidge of the negativity that they are seeing when they get their Duo, right back to the Apple Store it goes.
