What if you could help spread the Gospel to communities you may never have the opportunity to visit? What if your little contribution could help build a church, support a priest, provide relief materials, or bring hope to people who desperately need it? 🙏🏽❤️ You may not be able to travel to remote communities to preach the Gospel or offer direct assistance, but you can still be part of this beautiful mission through your donations. Tomorrow, at Mass, you have an opportunity to make a difference. Please, do not let it pass you by. Many communities lack basic necessities such as hospitals, schools, decent places of worship, and rectories where priests can live and carry out their ministry. This is why your donation matters. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a difference in the lives of these communities and help spread the Gospel. My own diocese has benefited greatly from this support. When our Cathedral was bombed by Boko Haram on Sunday, June 17, 2012, financial assistance came from Rome to help repair the damage. And that money did not simply come from the Pope's pocket. It came, in part, from the generosity of Catholics who contribute to the Church's missionary work and charitable causes around the world. Tomorrow, please, let us give generously. ❤️ As Catholics, we are all called to be missionaries. Some go out into remote communities to preach the Gospel and serve the people directly, while others support the mission through their prayers and donations. Both forms of service matter. Both help build up the Church and bring Christ's love to those in need. You may not be able to go, but you can help someone else go. You may not be able to build a school or a church yourself, but your contribution can help make it possible. Do not be left out of the mission. Give generously tomorrow at Mass. 🙏🏽❤️
