My friend got a job paying ₦850k monthly after being unemployed for three years.
The first month he received his salary, he sent ₦200k to his mother and kept the rest for rent, feeding, and other expenses.
His mother called him the following morning.
She asked why he sent only ₦200k when he earned ₦850k.
He explained that he had responsibilities too.
She became angry and reminded him of the money she spent on his education.
He apologised and promised to do better.
The following month, she called again and demanded ₦500k.
He sent it.
By the third month, she insisted he must send at least ₦700k because she wanted to build a house.
When he refused, she told their relatives that her son had become proud because he was now earning money.
The shocking part now is that:
He is considering leaving his job and moving to another state because he can no longer handle the pressure.
I kept telling him that why will he leave his job of 850k because of his mother?

He liked a post about loyalty but he's not loyal. His attitude when things gets awry proves it.
The truth is that the Glazers, INEOS,Omar Berrada and Jason Wilcox are the ones to be blamed for Manchester United recent run of poor results.
They gave him only three midfield players, Carlos Baleba,Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans after Casemiro left the club.
Apart from Casemiro leaving,he still have most of those players he had last season but most of them are injured and the ones available are also injury prone.
Bruno Fernandes isn't the player he was last season. Since Casemiro joined Inter Miami,Bruno Fernandes has been the shadow of himself.
It's quite pathetic that as the team captain, instead of backing the manager he's doing everything possible to get him sacked.
That's a shameful behaviour from Bruno Fernandes. Lisandro Martinez knew the problem,he called out the owners,he was fined but the whole world knows he was right.
Bruno Fernandes should be a man and call out the owners if he's got the balls.
At this point even Carrick will be happy to receive the sack letter so that he can finally be free from the emotional pain he goes through each match day.
