WELCOME HOME, TEAM UGANDA! What a journey this has been! From Uganda, through Nairobi, Namanga and Dar es Salaam, all the way to Zanzibar. 10 days of travel, endurance, learning, representation and, above all, love for Uganda. What amazed me most was how the team went beyond what we had actually come to do. It wasn't just about the summit. Everywhere we went, they became ambassadors for their country. Talking to tourists and fellow travellers, asking, “Have you been to Uganda?” sharing stories, showcasing our culture and constantly finding a way to sell the Uganda story. The energy, patriotism and genuine love for their country was honestly mesmerizing to witness. We went to represent Uganda, promote Destination Uganda, build connections and explore opportunities, but somehow the team gave even more than that. We created visibility, started conversations and left people curious about Uganda. Now we can only hope that the conversations and connections made along the way grow into meaningful results, partnerships and long-term opportunities for Destination Uganda. Welcome home, Team Uganda. What a journey!
