Q: Do you regret going to war with Iran?
Trump: I think it's one of the greatest things we've done.

Border Patrol arrested a Montana dad with no warrant, looking for someone else. A nonprofit and a federal judge got him out, then expanded the case. At least 50 people freed so far. Trump’s agents assumed nobody would fight back. They were wrong.

BREAKING: Russia has launched a missile attack on Kyiv, firing more than 10 ballistic missiles, reportedly including Iskander-M, Zircon, and S-400 missiles.
The attack comes as Moscow signals its readiness to resume trilateral peace talks with Ukraine and the US.
Pete Hegseth just gutted the system troops use to report wrongdoing. The military’s Inspector General is how a service member safely reports fraud, abuse, a dangerous commander, or a sexual assault, often anonymously, without fear of retaliation. Hegseth’s overhaul strips that anonymity, lets “non-credible” complaints get tossed, and flags anyone who files too often. He calls the old system “weaponized," yet offered no evidence.
A junior enlisted troop who sees something wrong just lost their safest way to say so. That doesn't protect the force. It protects the people at the top. military.com/pete-hegseth-an…

NEW!!! Senate Democratic aides who just returned from Ukraine told reporters on a call that Kushner and Witkoff did not even visit the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv during their recent trip, calling it a sign of how disconnected the U.S. negotiating team is from officials on the ground.

As just announced in the @UN First Committee, Russia’s COSMOS 2612 military satellite has been exhibiting threatening behavior by intentionally maneuvering dangerously close to a commercial satellite, behaviors consistent with on-orbit weapons operations. This violates long-established safety thresholds in low Earth orbit. The United States will continue to secure and defend American vital national security interests in, from, and to space.

The U.S. Embassy in Ottawa has just issued a fact sheet accusing Canadian politicians of trying to influence American politics. It ends with a rather pointed warning: "Americans decide America’s elections."

BREAKING: Iran now announces that any attack, joint or separate, by the U.S. or Israel will be treated as an all-out war, with a senior security official saying that Tehran has made a “definitive decision” to respond “without any limits or restraint” and has placed its military on the highest alert, per Press TV.
The warning comes as Netanyahu reportedly continues pushing for a strike on Iran’s military and nuclear infrastructure before Israel’s October 27 election, despite Trump halting a planned multi-day bombing campaign at the last minute to avoid a wider war ahead of the U.S. midterms. Israeli media reports that Netanyahu is now weighing an attack without Washington’s backing.
Tehran is making its position clear: if Netanyahu launches a unilateral attack, Iran says it will treat it as a joint U.S.-Israeli operation and retaliate without limits or restraint.

So Hegseth is blaming the Ukrainians and saying Elon made the decision to downgrade Ukraine’s Starlink service? Isn’t that completely different from Rubio’s explanation that it was a technical glitch? Days into this scandal and they can’t seem to get their stories straight.

Truly staggering stuff.
Hegseth and Rubio are at the center of it, too. Bookmark this one.

JUST IN: Significant decision from the 10th Circuit: the 6 month "reasonable" period of detention for ICE detainees with final orders of removal does *not* reset over time.
The Trump admin had argued the 6 months reset everytime ICE redetained someone.
