There are times when you think AI has gone too far, but then there are moments when you see Uncle Phil from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air scoring Mesut Özil's goal against Ludogrets, and suddenly it all feels worthwhile.

There were many reactions to Cristiano Ronaldo’s 1,700-word statement. Outrage. Sympathy. Mockery. Yet the most compelling response was simply: Why bother? For the sake of settling a perceived slight, Ronaldo is turning his final football act into a tragic mess - and exhausting the patience of even die-hard fans. 📝 @NickMiller79 🔗 nyti.ms/4y1Fylj

A crazy situation, but Armadale are playing twice on Saturday 17th to accommodate a league game and Scottish Communities Cup tie. @EastScotlandFA have a policy of not giving flexibility to their clubs taking part in that competition.
🔄 | DALE AT THE DOUBLE This is NOT a drill. Get the date in your diary. It’s a Dale Double on Saturday 17th October. We will firstly welcome @DBFC1938 for our @EastScotlandFA encounter in the afternoon. We will then have a some recovery time in between before we then take on current North of Scotland Premier League champions, @StonehavenFC in the @scottishjuniors Cup in the evening. We hope you can be there for a full day of Dale action and give the lads the support they need in what will be a historic day. 💙

Man City received £949.94m in commercial income from Abu Dhabi sponsors between 2009-2018. Only £119.25m came from sponsors -- the remaining £830.69m were "Tagged Sums" paid by Abu Dhabi United Group (City's owners)

The stupidest thing is how transparent the cheating was. Man City were averaging £600m more in commercial income than Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea in the decade to 2020. It was stark raving obvious that those numbers could not be real for City’s global scale at that time.

He arrived to a room of bemused player faces and plenty of doubt. He leaves as a non-playing #WxmAFC legend. The work Humphrey Ker has done for the club cannot be understated. After all, he's the EXACT reason the takeover happened in the first place. And he put his own family life and career path on hold to become the conduit between Rob and Ryan and the club & fans. He went on every podcast & TV/radio show going to talk up the owners and the club, never once taking any credit himself. He defended the honour of the club and owners and ensured everyone knew this was a serious (ad)venture and not a vanity project. An honourable man of distinction, humility and infectious enthusiasm, Humphrey became one of us in an instant. He got it. He got us. So, thank you for everything @thehumphreyker . You will be sorely missed by everyone.
