My boss called me into his office yesterday.
Boss: Why are you always leaving this office exactly at 4 p.m.?
Me: Because my working hours end at 4 p.m., sir.
Boss: Don’t you want to grow in this company?
Me: Of course, sir.
Boss: Then you need to start making sacrifices. I usually stay until 6 p.m.
I nodded and returned to my desk.
At 4 p.m., I packed my things and headed for the door.
My boss stopped me.

Instead of us to be fighting bad governance and insecurity, we’re busy fighting ourselves because of religion and Aqeedah….No wonder these politicians are toying around with us however they want!
When will Nigerians ever get sense ?🤦♂️

I blocked my wife on everywhere after one argument.
Me: Don’t come home ever again.
Wife: Okay.
Me: I mean it. I’m serious this time.
Wife: Okay.
Me: And don’t call me.
Wife: I won’t.
Me: Don’t text me either.
Wife: Alright.
Me: You’re not even going to fight for me?
Wife: You told me not to come, call, or text.

Doctor: “Your father needs surgery immediately. Who will pay the bill?”
Young Man: “I will, Doctor.”
Doctor: “You look very young. Do you have enough money?”
Young Man: “Not yet, but I'll find it.”
Doctor: “Why are you taking so much responsibility for him?”
Young Man: “When I was a child, my father sold his only car to pay for my surgery.”

When I joined the company, my annual salary was $11,000. During my first performance review, our HR manager called me into his office and promised that my salary would be increased to $15,000.
I was excited and thanked him for recognizing my hard work.
However, the first year passed, and nothing changed. I remained patient because I believed the company would keep its promise.
The second year came and went, but my salary was still $11,000. Whenever I asked HR about the increase, they told me it was being processed.
By the beginning of the third year, I had almost given up hope. I continued working hard, but deep down, I felt disappointed that a promise made two years earlier had not been fulfilled.
Then, one morning, HR called me into the office again.

My older brother asked me to be the best man at his wedding, then uninvited me 4 days before.
The reason? My wife is pregnant and he said my wife's "drama" would stress out his fiancée.
My wife has zero drama. What she has is severe morning sickness that makes her need to sit down often. His fiancée apparently told him she didn't want "someone throwing up in the bathroom all day at my wedding."
I was his best man since we were kids. I helped him pick the ring. I paid for his bachelor party.
I called him and said, "So you're choosing her insecurities over your brother?"
He said,
