Starting Sunday off with a bang!
Waking up to a full duration static fire test from Booster 22. Flight 15 is going to be epic.
In other news, after roughly two months of assembly, the 420-ton bridge crane has been jacked up to the top of the Gigabay.
It’s one of eight bridge cranes that will be installed in the structure. The two larger 420-ton cranes will transfer vehicles between transport and work stands and handle breakover for horizontal transport, while the other six will be used for stacking operations.
12 hour time lapse 🎥: @LabPadre
Hard to believe this is real without actually seeing it. But I imagine this is only possible by using cold gas thrusters on the straights.
@C2k_IT in response to the post you deleted, the tire temperatures are at the lower end of F1 tire operating temps which makes sense for a cool down lap (assuming that’s when the screen shot was taken because the times lap was already completed).
Even tho core temps are influenced by vertical load on the tires, surface temps are primarily a result of friction during cornering. If lateral thrusters were used during cornering I would expect those temps to be a lot lower.
Could very well be wrong though, I would like to see footage/telemetry from that lap to confirm
Ship 40 has been lifted back to the vertical position inside of Megabay 2!
What do yal think will be its fate after deep inspection is completed?

Beyond epic!!! Ship 40 being transported horizontally back to Starbase along HW4. Such a crazy journey to make it back home!

The LOX landing tank test article appears to have experienced a RUD during testing. Its possible this was intentional, although its pretty rare for SpaceX to perform tests to failure, especially at Masseys

Hilarious post by @MercedesAMGF1 which was later deleted after things got awkward.
Very sad I missed the launch this morning for the first time ever.
But congrats to SpaceX for successfully reaching orbit!
Discover channel came to my house today. Wish I would have reacted fast enough when I saw him diving to take out the Dove
