Babylon is not better than First Man, which is not better than La La Land, which is not better than Whiplash (even tho I prefer it).
IMDb scores 7.1 - 7.3 - 8.0 - 8.5
To say he's never made a bad film is highly debatable too. Babylon is not universally liked, it's divisive af.
The Bruce Willis passion project Hudson Hawk, Carl Grimes' Resident Evil fan film Biohazard, and of course more Tom Cruise. It's a packed week as Andy chooses the final Trick 'r Treat movie of the month in this weeks episode.

I find it very hard to believe a real critic would ever say "my opinion actually matters". Only this week Mark Kermode was talking about the role of a critic, and it's not this. Utterly repugnant.
I sorta agree, but I'd rather watch the bad Halloween's on repeat than a minute of either of the last 2 Scream films.
Bad Halloween is at least some fun shizz. Bad Scream is borderline unwatchable.
Every year, Gary Oldman gives one of my favourite comedic performances in #SlowHorses.
Now that is what a fun film should be about!
#Clayface rocked.
The Fly, Society, The Substance, a bit of Raimi's Evil Dead stylings, throw in some Resident Evil vibes... This was an homage to the good stuff, whilst being it's own thing.
I am absolutely, 100% positively sure, that someone who works inside Netflix used the exact term "mega woke slop insanity", and this definitely isn't some homemade bollocks designed to get clicks because it's exactly how actual human beings talk and no dweebs on twitter.
Netflix is getting rocked behind the scenes, and our source says Narnia is part of the problem.
Film chief Dan Lin was fired over the weekend.
Chief content officer Bela Bajaria was already out.
Now a Paramount source tells CBN:
“Development frozen right now.”
Scripts and pitches are reportedly sitting in limbo, with people unable to even get calls or emails answered.
Then the source went right at Greta Gerwig’s Narnia:
“Narnia is a mega woke slop insanity.”
“Think Amazon Rings of Power but worse.”
The $280M movie was already said to be in trouble internally, with insiders calling it “awful” and “a genuine problem.”
Reshoots followed a summer test screening.
The first trailer then got hammered with dislikes.
Now Dan Lin is gone with the movie just months from release.
Our source also says this is bigger than Netflix.
“More firings are coming. And not just Netflix.”
Disney, Hulu, Amazon Prime and others are all said to be making moves.
The source’s blunt summary:
“Glut = Slop.”
And with Paramount and Warner Bros. now combined under Skydance, the pressure is only going up.
Netflix has already lost two of its top content executives in a matter of days.
According to our source, the shakeup is only starting.

Mortal Kombat II might be in the bottom 10 films I've seen this year so far. Street Fighter is probably bottom 5.
Real snobbery about superhero movies... Anyway, I wonder who did win an Oscar the year Iron Man was released?
Paul Bettany says that Robert Downey Jr should have won an Oscar for his performance as Iron Man.
“It’s extraordinarily hard to do, it’s only some sort of snobbery regarding superhero movies that I think stopped that happening.”

I still can't get over how good the TV Show was when the films were, politely, not the best.
Real shame it's not going to continue. Can only hope the Animated Ted isn't just Family Guy/American Dad with a talking bear.
I know @cineworld have been ignoring posts about the redesigned app, but I saw there was an update on 1st Oct - but the update did nothing about the many valid UI crticisms they've been getting.
At least let us know you hear us and are working on improving things!
Wicked looked like shit because the director was incompetent.
Digger! looked like that due to a creative choice around it's storytelling.
These are not the same.
I'm such a dope! Set release time for PM not AM today 🙃
New episode is out, we've got the worst film ever(?), a favourite short(?), and whatever the hell Lions for Lambs was, all in today's episode.
