There’s nothing wrong with mini-games when they’re optional & fun
But when you “remake” a 5-minute section into a 2-hour slog with the one of the worst minigames of all time, it becomes a problem

Final Fantasy VII Remake Director Naoki Hamaguchi says they want to put many minigames in part 3 of the FF7 Remake trilogy as OG FF7 also has lots of minigames!
He says the original was a title with lots of minigames so they want to keep that same spirit and have more in minigames and game content players can enjoy in the first, second and third parts of the Remake trilogy!
