Proud of @RITG_Hopkins for going 4-1 this weekend @eastcoast_sb
Had some barrels and just missed some others. Hit a 💣 6 RBIs and played clean at 3rd, 1st, and 2nd.
Looking forward to Octoberfest next weekend!

Wow. Much respect to #Titans HC Robert Saleh for explaining the DT Jordan Elliott gun situation.
“My message to 31 other teams: If you need a hell of a run-stopping D-tackle that can help on a playoff run, give me a call. I'll tell you everything you need to know about him. He’s a good man. Had a terrible lapse in judgment. I recognize it as a call for help. Not a criminal act.”

Pat Murphy says becoming a father completely changed the way he coached, and now every player he views and coaches as somebody else’s son
“It’s got to be real, man. You can’t just say it. You’ve got to live it. When it’s about your kid, when you’re raising kids by yourself, you’re clueless, man. You don’t know what you’re doing. I don’t know what I’m doing. I didn’t have that kind of, my parents were way older than me, so I don’t know how to parent. I don’t know what I’m doing, but it’s really important to me.”
“And I started thinking about it like, every kid I coach is somebody’s Kai Joseph. You know what I mean? Every kid I coach, they have parents who love their kid the way I love my kid.”
“Wow, I’ve got to be a little mindful how I treat these guys. I’ve got to be a little mindful about, like, it’s my job.”
“This profession isn’t about the wins and losses. This profession is about, how do I impact this person?

Think of movement in terms of mental calories.
When an athlete is asked to move in a way that's less natural to them, it may take more conscious effort.
Can they still be successful? Absolutely.
But how much attention and energy is going toward the movement itself instead of hitting 95+ on the inner half or commanding both sides of the zone?
Understanding individual movement preferences may help athletes spend less time thinking about how to move and more time competing.
Let them be free to perform and be the great athletes they are.

Great wet weekend in Cary, NC with @cltbsblacademy! Awesome tournament hosted by @PSBaseballinc with fantastic facilities.
Proud of how our team battled through the rain! Finished the fall strong on the mound and contributed at the plate in game 2, going 2-for-3 with a single, triple, 2 runs, RBI & SB. Fall season is over, but the work isn’t. Time to attack the offseason and come back stronger! 💪⚾
