This would be a good time for @PattisonMedia to step up to the plate.
Why doesn't @BCFerries make a deal with @Starlink to provide wifi on all sailings? Seems like it could be pretty mutually beneficial. Thousands of people forced to take the ferries daily, pretty good advertising opportunity for Starlink. Connectivity for commuters. @elonmusk
Listened to mondays show late bc I'm traveling but have to point out @JamieDodd that 'the Jaunty Pan Flutes' is a great band or improv team name #canuckstalk
I'm sure Shorty just said "this has been resilient" just to fuck with @ThomasDrance #Canucks
1/2 @GyuKakuJBBQ in Santa Monica refused to serve my date a drink last night despite her being completely sober, having just got off work and not had a drop of alcohol at that point, for "being intoxicated." When we explained we were completely sober and asked for an apology...
2/2 The server instead snatched the menu from us and said "you can go eat somewhere else." We politely left without a fuss, since we were completely sober and not in the mood for confrontation. But it was such a strange and rude experience. Neither of us had had any alcohol yet.
Just really really #badservice by @GyuKakuJBBQ and I was super bummed out because I was stoked to try their food. Have heard good things. Might try another location but won't ever go back to Santa monica spot.
And @KevinWeekes just said Colorado is "up to something" .... 👀
The celebrity introductions are good. What if Bettman didn't introduce every single introducer though? Would save time and it's a bit repetitive. #NHLDraft
One of my favorite quotes from Silo book 3 feels relevant:
"[protagonist] was verging on the sad realization that humanity had been thrown to the brink of extinction by insane men in positions of power following one another, each thinking the others knew where they were going."
The #Canucks - who 10 years ago soundly rejected the idea of a rebuild because it would take 10-15 years and have now have missed the playoffs 8/10 years - are putting on a masterclass in running a pro sports organization wow. 👏 Amazing.
I've seen #Canucks games before but this Canucks game possibly out Canucks-games all the other Canucks games before it.
Dear #Android, at no time that I'm typing "this," do I ever want it auto-corrected to "thus."
Thank you.
