Did some wandering through WoW Forever on the trial code and it's very pretty but I admit my first thought was 'oh no I have to do this all over again?' My OG WoW character, from Dec 2004 or so, is still on her original server, and I've played her off and on since I gave up serious gaming in WotLK. But when you have a 20+ year old character there's some sunk cost nostalgia in there that simply does not apply to replaying the original experience. I might poke it a few more times before the trial ends but I no longer have the shoulders and wrists I did in my twenties and the prospect of abusing them to kill another 150 Defias bandits is literally painful to contemplate.😆 It is beautiful, though. The environmental team did a great job.

As an artist you learn early that people who hate you love your tears, feed on your despair, and rejoice at your professions of hopelessness... but the only way they can win is if you give up. Have some pride and don't let the jackals profit. Do your mad, beautiful thing anyway.

As usual, I'm off for the weekend! Since I was discussing it earlier this week, out of my pile of 70+ books I'm going to suggest you pick up Morgan's story. Because only I was crazy enough to mix: 1. chronic pain disorders, 2. elves driven crazy by immortality, 3. vampire furries, 4. demons and zombies, and 5. quasi-Regency fantasy settings. This one even has a stellar audio edition, narrated by a guy who was a walk-on on Downton Abbey. (Note the title predates romantasy stealing this style of titling.
