Small PSA sub returned today.
I thought all of these would be PSA 9 but they’re all being kept and I wanted them in slabs.
Clearly I don’t know ball 😂

Good news for me: my PSA order wasn’t stolen! Better news for you: I need to sell slabs to pay for the sub! PayPal or Venmo only. RT’s and tags appreciated. 🧵
Shohei Flashbacks refractor. $500
Maliek has had an excellent NFL career. 11th year DT getting a 2 year extension? Excellent
The #Browns and standout DT Maliek Collins have agreed to terms on a 2-year extension for $30M with $23M in total guarantees, agent Drew Rosenhaus tells me and @AdamSchefter.

My friend tells me that her dad has a box of cards that he bought awhile that's been sitting in the garage. Then she shows me slabs like this! The rest of them were junk wax with some raw kobe rookie or Peyton Manning rookie. Oh and beam team cards from basketball stadium club... – at Ontario, CA

I haven’t bought much in a while since I went on a 1.5 week trip to Florida to help a close friend move into his new house. Came back and immediately went to the LCS and picked these up!
I had an order pop last week with PSA and they have not shipped it yet. Typically the shipping things out 1-2 days after the offers expire in my experience.
I’m assuming the FedEx issue has made them pause and reevaluate shipping practices.
PSA backlog is at 7.2m. At current rate, they would be at 5.2m by 11/17.
Their stated goal was to open bulk at 5m. I cannot imagine they open it all at once - it would be a flood. I think there has to be new tiers or price changes in the next 4 weeks to ease into a bulk reopenin
I try to keep this account to strictly sports and card but I keep seeing our president bring this up in speeches
Does he realize a literal 2 YO can do this? My daughter can tell the difference between those 4 animals.
It’s wild POTUS thinks this is an intellectual achievement.

MLB owners recently put together $2B in a "war chest" to prepare for the lockout
That's about $75M per team, which is more than the Guardians spent in payroll
Read that again, owners set aside more in rainy day funds for the Guardians than the Guardians spent on payroll
Wake up to this from overnight on eBay
Person makes offer on a card
Offer was automatically accepted
Card is paid for
Person requests cancellation because they found the card cheaper
…you made the offer??
The coolest part of this is all the replies saying they witnessed it first hand
Jim Nantz says Mike Ditka used to pay and tip for everything with $100 bills, and never ask for change
“I noticed early on that all he carried were $100 bills. All he did was peel off hundreds all the time. Buy a beer at the bar on the way out to dinner, ‘Yeah, give me a Budweiser.’ $100. Keep the change.”
“Coat check, comes into a restaurant, comes out, $100. Man on the street, homeless, there was one guy that kind of understood the routine and he was there every week. Mike, every time, $100 bill.”
“I finally got up the nerve to say, ‘Hey coach, why don’t you ever get change? Why just the hundreds?’ He says, ‘Hey, what’s the difference anyway?’”
“He said, ‘You know, the way I look at it, when I die and they drop me down into the ground, I hope there’s a little opening in that coffin and my last $100 bill comes flying out and goes up into the sky and drifts away. That would make me happy.’”
“So I said, ‘This gets a little pricey, doesn’t it?’ ‘It’s not that bad, Jim.’ He said, ‘Here’s the way I rationalize it in my head. We got 20 weeks. I come every single Friday to New York. I come in with 50 $100 bills, $5,000. And at the end of the season, I’m spending $100,000.’”
“He would say, ‘I’ve allocated $100,000 to the football season to go enjoy myself in New York. And that’s the way it is.’ I take $5,000 in cash in hundreds every single week. And that’s what he did.”
About 5 years ago I sold a card at auction for approximately $1000. At the time, it was the most I had ever sold a card for.
I had people who I trusted telling me it was worth many times that.
I never solicited private offers because it was a new set. (1/2)
Throwback to when Geoff offered $50K cash for this Munetaka Murakami 1/1 SuperFractor at the National, and it still wasn’t enough to get a deal done 👀
This exact 2026 Topps Finest Headliners 1/1 SuperFractor ended up selling for $20.1K on Goldin in September.
Still, $20.1K for a card you pulled is nothing to complain about! 🙌
