NESO is playing with fire.
Disconnected leadership and optimistic modelling are putting Britain’s electricity security at risk. New analysis of frequency data, the Eversheds report, and the Winter Outlook. A thread 🧵(1/12)
Legends.
Men for 2 different ages and different crises.
Proper Albion men.
Both understand the need for hard work, to play for the fans and the badge, to know that the team is just a fleeting custodian of something bigger: a club drenched in history and tradition.
Jimmy is just starting his journey but the challenges are similar. Megson climbed a different mountain but he got to the top.
Jimmy is in the foothills but I've every faith.

#wba Last week we had a number of fans saying how bad Pereira, Campbell, Barney were. A few weeks before Heggebo, Moloumby, JJ and Phillips. At the start of the season we needed another keeper.
They should learn patience and humility.
This team is by no means the finished article. We will go a number of games without winning for sure. We may not make the play offs in a mad league.
But one things for sure the Albion ship has changed direction. We have more youth and pace now. We have hunger and motivation.
And we have a manager who is Albion through and through and is becoming extremely accomplished.
Believe.
Right on the money. Campbell a career politician has only feathered his own nest at the expense of everybody else's including young people.
You were chief spin doctor for the government that introduced university tuition fees in the first place, saddling an entire generation of working-class kids with lifelong debt before they even earned a wage.
Then you redrafted intelligence dossiers to send hundreds of young British teenagers to die in the Iraqi sand for a lie.
Now, fresh off being called out to your face on national television, you roll out a glossy PR campaign claiming to champion the youth.
You do not back young people, Alastair. You taxed their education, used them as cannon fodder, and now you want to use them to rebuild your shattered media career. Shameless.
You can see his necrotic soul leeching into his face. You can see lives of all those he's destroyed being weighed in there.
I hope there's a reckoning.
There aren't many things nicer than seeing that disgusting blowhard Alastair Campbell getting his comeuppance.
Truth hurts Alastair. Do us all a favour and climb into a dark hole so we never have to hear you again.
Star Trek Next Generation was seminal scifi for me.
And Patrick Stewart was the brilliant anchor to that whole Star Trek period of time.
A superb actor, charismatic, forceful and always a glint in his eye.
You will be missed.
RIP

Together they represent one of the biggest transfers of wealth from households and businesses to the Treasury in decades – with little to show for it in public services.
Whether you're a business owner employing staff, a parent paying school fees, a farmer planning succession, an entrepreneur building wealth or simply someone trying to save for your family’s future...
- You keep less of what you earn.
- You keep less of what you invest.
- You leave less for your family.
Death by a thousand cuts.

Good morning @BowenPies
Your plea for some breathing room from the Chancellor didn't fall on deaf ears - the nation heard it, and the troops are coming.
I've just bought one of your Mix & Match pie boxes, and am sure others will support you too.
