ALT How to thrive in grad school! Our students’ top 5 tips: 1. Grow your support system (Get to know your classmates / Network within and outside of your department) 2. Prioritize your time (Have realistic expectations for how long tasks will take / Set timers for each task and include breaks!) 3. Fight Imposter Syndrome (Remember that you belong / Don't be afraid to ask questions - questions don't mean you're not capable) 4. Stay on task (Be prepared to deal with distractions / Restrict phone use and notifications during work / Find a quiet study space) 5. Expand your horizons (Grow your skill repertoire / Don't be afraid to learn about areas that are not directly related to your thesis)
