They have never been out on walks, have lived in their own faeces and have had little to no socialisation with people or other dogs. When we collected them, most were completely shut down. They froze when taken outside on a lead, and it was heartbreaking to see. They now have a chance to learn what it means to feel safe, loved and cared for. All six are severely underweight, with a body condition score of just 1. They have a long road ahead, but we are determined to give them the happy, healthy lives they deserve. WE URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP! We have already spent over £800 on their initial vaccinations and microchipping. They still need further vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, neutering, veterinary care and ongoing rehabilitation. With six pups to care for, the costs will quickly add up. He is a very sweet lad and behaved well at the vets for his vaccinations. He is vaccinated and parasite treated. He has dog tested well, I have a video for interested rescues. Thai lad needs an understanding place as is is sensitive, although he has been well behaved since he has been in the system, there is some history, I can elaborate on with rescues. Pound pullers are trying to save dogs on death row, every day all across the country ⁉️⁉️⁉️ Pound pullers are volunteers who mostly share dogs at risk on social media to help find rescue shelter spaces. This rescue work is heartbreaking and relentless. No figures exist re how many healthy dogs are being killed by vets for owners and councils. Please retweet, appeal for information #BURRYPORT #CARMARTHENSHIRE #WALES #UK 20 SEPT 2026 RSPCA Cymru has issued an appeal for information to try and track down the owner of a thoroughbred horse found in a poor condition in Burry Port. The bay gelding is around eight years old and was removed by the RSPCA from the Graig area on Sunday 20 September. He was found in an isolated field by RSPCA Inspector Holly Brown and is now safe in the charity’s care. Now, RSPCA officers are keen to find out more about him. His microchip wasn’t registered so enquiries are being made to track down the owner. RSPCA Deputy Chief Inspector Gemma Cooper said: “This thoroughbred was found in a poor condition and was thin. “He has now been taken into our care for veterinary treatment. “We don’t know who he belongs to so we’re issuing an appeal to help with enquiries. We’d also like to thank those members of the public who have called this in and we hope he will be able to make a full recovery. Anyone with any first hand information can contact the RSPCA Inspectorate Appeal Line on 0300 123 8018 and can quote 01907354.
