No acknowledgment, at all, that Saudi Arabia sparked this current round of war by attacking the Sanaa airport in August. Apparently Mr. Streeting believes the only acceptable response by Ansar Allah is to allow Saudi to bomb them at will and silently take no action. And what, may I ask the minister, is the British objective here? What is the attainable military outcome they seek? How long will the mission last, what does success look like, how much will it cost? Nah, just kidding, I know that kind of thinking doesn’t exist anymore in senior military ranks of Western Europe and the United States.
