"All businesses owned by Jews were set on fire." Kristallnacht is being repeated in the West, but the people from NatCon want to scold you for using the bad word, antisemitism. Never again is now.
French journalist Paul Amar: “They came prepared. They had the addresses of town halls. They had addresses of Jewish shop owners. In a street in Marseille, all businesses owned by Jews were set on fire. Businesses run by Muslims weren’t”

The cycle of violence in France must stop. Israel is calling on BOTH sides to show restraint, and engage in negotiations for a two-state solution.

not to get too sentimental, but i am truly humbled and grateful that so many of you have decided to follow me. i've said it before, i truly owe my professional career and all the opportunities that have come my way by just posting on @X thanks @mvanhorn for the nostalgia trip!
TL;DR of my new article: who Lauren Tan (@poteto) really is, and how the engineer behind Grok Bot went from 31K to 198K followers in ten weeks. She has been at Cursor for less than seven months, not even long enough to hit a typical one-year vesting cliff. In that time @elonmusk has reposted, quoted, or replied to her at least 21 times. 🇸🇬 A teenager in Singapore whose dad gave her Photoshop at 15, then a finance degree where her first program was an Excel macro 🎤 Her tweets got her invited to speak at EmberConf, and her talks got her DockYard, Netflix, and the React team ⚛️ Sole author of the React Compiler Beta post, co-author of React Compiler 1.0 🐶 Binnie, her bug-fixing Slack bot, helped inspire Grok Bot because she is "a fairly lazy person" 🏗️ She rebuilt Grok @bot on Dune, her agent-first framework, in more than 600 PRs 🚀 Her 2,500 PRs talk has 3.9M views: "You can't spawn 100 agents when you don't even trust the output of one agent." 🌌 Grok Bot Galaxy, a 72-hour livestream building a company with @grok and @bot, which Elon quoted to 30M views 🥔 pstack, where the P is for potato Caveat: she is the first to say she did not build Grok Bot alone. "I wouldn't say I built it all."

The thing we just can’t see is when the founders are gone, so is the passion. They hire som Harvard or Yale folk to “optimize” until everything turns to nothing. They don’t hire Sue or Kent that worked their entire life to run things. The founder passion they have in there DNA is still alive. We all know because curious kids like me loved to marvel at the implied complexity of the small car and not only did it add to the fantasy but it add to the curiosity… How does it work? That simple question is the one reason we have the world around us. Something sparked this in us. Now of course our job than is to in real-life make simple the overly complex: of course the underside of a car will get more simple with electric cars. But not a flat piece of plastic with a logo. We can do better. How? Don’t stand for it as an employee most important and as a consumer. As an inventor and an investor, change things and disrupt with new founder energy, not a Harvard PowerPoint of saving 1/8 of a penny.

All the posts in the last 2 days begging grok to confirm that Jews are about to behead them are actually hilarious. Thank you @grok for your patience. 🤩

Can’t even imagine that sort of world, seems too much like utopia fantasy to me. Majority of people already don’t do anything when surrounded by incentives, what will they do if everything was free? This idea that people will have more time to paint or do a hobby, I don’t know. Whatever happens, I’ll simply adjust and find ways to excel and get what I need for my family like I did all my life. Never was one for complaining about unfairness of this and that

Adapt or die.
Met up with a former Big Tech co-worker yesterday. He said that developers at his company (one of the FAANGs) were terrified to adopt AI. They're afraid of becoming obsolete. That's ... just mind-blowing. It seems that entire fields have trouble recognizing when they've just became the buggy-whip maker in the automobile era. The only move to make is to embrace technological progress and get better at the new thing than anyone else.

I mean, to me it seems to davka be the pshat that he did not kill him as a murderer would, as he was condemned to exile versus death.

Obviously not all Jews believe this, probably not even most. But it's in the writings, and it's what orthodox folks apparently believe.

NEWS FLASH: The abortion rate in the USA is 2.5x higher than in Israel. Remember that when people try to tell you that abortion is especially Jewish or something.

An underemphasized benefit of AI is that it can give disabled people dignity. In this study, deaf delivery drivers got AI and suddenly became much better at their jobs: They delivered faster, more reliably, with fewer problems, and they did so more often with less quitting!

Exactly. I don’t want an always-on bot with unpredictable usage and style. I want the good enough model that is consistent and I can budget my usage.

roast away! personally i only care about building the best product for our users. whether its our model or someone else’s doesn’t really bother me. this is my own opinion of course but i do hope that our next models will be competitive. let’s see what happens
