Most pre-school (3yo) kids of working parents in NI seem to get 12.5 hours per week childcare. If we lived in England, Scotland or Wales this would be at least 30 hours. As a result we pay £100s more in private childcare

2. Childcare is the biggest barrier to progression and the NI offering compared to the rest of the UK is very poor.

‘After time Strive felt like a family, when it finished they are still checking in on me and keeping in touch’. A quote from our external evaluation that was read at our recent closure event #PeaceIV #Peace4Youth

#peace4youth projects: the increase in the allocation to Theme 3: 'Empowering and Investing in our Young People' is very welcome. The voice of young people has been heard and valued in this consultation process. seupb.eu/sites/default/files… @cooperationirl @nycinews @UlsterUni @pobal
Back in March the SEUPB launched a public consultation which gave citizens the opportunity to share their views on how #PEACEPLUS funding will be spent & how the new Programme will be delivered, from 2021-2027. We are delighted to share with you the consultation response report👇

Delighted to hear of UK Govt.’s financial commitment to PEACE PLUS. Extensive work already completed on the content of the new cross-border programme, which is supported by the EU, Govt. of Ireland and NI Executive. PEACE PLUS will leave a lasting legacy for many years to come.
Super proud of our young people from @NewstartEdu completing this good relations mural in their car park. A lot of planning & hard work went into this. #PeaceIV #Peace4Youth
