Here's looking at you, kid. Feel free to gift me a blue tick. AI is dangerously fun. All opinions and posts are not to be taken seriously. This is not a joke.

Can any AI evade threats without any kind of reinforcement learning or training data? Nope. You know what can evade threats in real time without any kind of reinforcement learning or training data? The Corvus Corone or "carrion crow". A crow. No training, just instinct. Raw intelligence can only be made through natural evolution. There's no AGI coming. Ever.

Thinking that AI or robots are going to take the jobs that we need immigrants for, shows a neanderthal level of understanding of AI, robotics and immigration.
If AI and humanoid robotics are set to take huge numbers of jobs, how does it any way make sense to run a huge (per capita) migration intake. Where even its proponents admit how hard it is to get rid of temporary visa holders once they are here.

With Snowy 2.0 costs blowing out 12x, it shows that when it comes to controlling budgets & expenses, govts in Australia are incompetent. Now think about nuclear, something we've never built before. If we attempt to build those, they will likely go to 100x projected costs.

France has had uprisings, riots & rebellions throughout it's history. People trying to tie the current events to immigration have a very poor understanding of history. French commoners have been rioting for the exact same reasons for over 600 years. Never trust the MSM goons.

A lot of people have no idea how the world really works. They think that simply burning it all down they can bring about their utopia. Even though just a tiny handful of revolutions have ever been truly successful to anything approaching that degree. Its all there in the history books, but few take the time to learn the lessons.

The best way to protect children from harmful ideology is to remove them from church & christian education. The churches & christian schools are full of child abusers. Family First supports church & christian education for kids, despite all the history of abuse in such places.
Children must be protected from harmful 🏳️‍🌈 ideology MEDIA RELEASE Ban teachers from indoctrinating kids in sexualised and gender fluid queer culture says Family First Teachers should be banned from promoting LGBTIQ+ sexualised and gender fluid ideology to children, according to Family First. NSW Legislative Council candidate Lyle Shelton said kids can and should be protected from bullying, but these programs should not be used to smuggle harmful ideology into the classroom. Mr Shelton’s comments come as the NSW Teachers Federation promotes its participation in this weekend’s Newcastle Pride Parade. “Mums and dads don’t want their kids’ teachers promoting queer culture. “Sexualised and gender-fluid concepts have no place around children,” Mr  Shelton said. “Parents do not want schools to be confusing their children about their gender and putting them on the trans train to puberty blockers, cross sex hormones and irreversible surgery.” If elected to the NSW Parliament next March, Family First will move to protect children from these concepts by requiring teachers to stop promoting the agendas of the radical LGBTQA+ political movement. The "For You" tab on X is mostly useless rage baiting crap where the algo pushes older posts. While most of the ALP policy on online safety is reprehensible, allowing users to opt out of foreign controlled algorithms is a sensible policy that gives users freedom of choice.
15
Algorithm opt out is a good policy, the rest is crap. Helen Haines tragedy + what Hanson did to Lambie, much of it ends up as rage baiting fed by algorithms to make people angry. Your party brought in 4x year BAS, so your not one to talk about creating useless tasks for business.
This is just madness. Labor’s digital duty of care is so bad they’re even going after small business. So whether you’re a plumber, accountant or cafe owner running a website or social media account, you’ll be forced to complete annual risk assessments unless the minister, through a legislative instrument, provides an exemption. This red tape hit job would capture well over 1 million Australian businesses but where is the online safety risk? This is shocking government overreach and utter nonsense. But Anthony Albanese and Anika Wells don’t care. They are only interested in giving themselves and the eSafety Commissioner sweeping powers to control what you say and see online. Whether it was mental illness or something else that caused Brendan Nugent to target Helen Haines, what's true is that Pauline Hanson supporters are more likely to be low intellectual capacity mentally ill people who don't understand anything, just as ill as Chalmers' supporters.

This twisted Yank trash from Murdoch press is one to talk about turning down the temperature. Literally the biggest gaslighting across all media in Australia, all these Murdoch press goons don't add any value to any discussion.
“If Albanese wants Australians to “turn down the temperature” of our political debate, perhaps he ought to start with himself and be the change he wants to see in the world.” dailytelegraph.com.au/news/o…

Hanson tried to fob off the awful cartoon about Lambie but then finally "got it" & has asked for the cartoon to be changed. Not pulled down entirely, but changed. Hanson is not Helen Haines & is far worse a character than Lambie could ever be. She should be ashamed of herself.

I don't think opting out foreign controlled algorithms is censorship, it's the reverse, it's user freedom. The other aspects of the bill I totally disagree with. Algorithms fuel rage & should be opt in only.
It’s true that social media can amplify division. It’s also true we're failing to improve social cohesion and protect the public from those with mental health issues. Instead of fueling division with calls for censorship, let's address these core issues in response to the horrific attack on Helen Haines.
17
We have an unintelligent MSM who does more gaslighting. I'm not seeing anything intelligent from the Australian MSM with regards the issues facing the nation. The MSM are parasites, in symbiosis with the same politicians that are doing the gaslighting. Especially Murdoch media.
I'm not going to make commentary on the motives of the man who ran down independent MP Helen Haines until we have more information on the issue. What I will say about the current atmosphere in Australia is there is increasingly broad based discontent and we have even eminent university professors referring to the government's approach to the public as "gaslighting". When a society gets to this point, extremism becomes more likely as the social fabric frays. And we are arguably stuck on this course, as economic outcome growth continues to deteriorate, the democratic will of the people is ignored again and again on vital issues and policymakers refuse to admit the severity of the problem. I hope I'm wrong, very badly wrong, because this appears to be heading no where good.

I'm a lifelong supporter of Israel. I think Bibi is a genius. But I also believe that letting users opt out of algorithms isn't censorship, it's actually freedom from the tech companies. I disagree with the rest of the proposed laws, but support algorithm opt outs fully.
It's alarming to see left-wing politicians already using this tragedy to call for further censorship online. The irony of using an attack, allegedly carried out by a crazed, leftist, anti-Israel hater in order to ram through Labor's draconian digital censorship bill which will be used to censor conservatives.

Jim Chalmers belongs in prison. He's done so much damage to Australia you'd have to call it treason. He's ruined so many lives - will ruin millions more lives if he keeps going with his idiotic policies.
The only solution is to install a new treasurer who will follow the Paul Keating playbook rather than chasing Wayne Swan’s ponies and rainbows, writes economics professor Richard Holden. ebx.sh/mPnfsP

Australia is pretty much the last place you'd want to invest or start a business in, especially if you have foreign capital. Awfully high wages, high taxes, ridiculous levels of red tape & chronic incompetence from govts. No good reason to invest here.
As @JEChalmers calls Australia a ‘premier investment destination’ while businesses hold back investment and states raise concerns about Labor’s tax changes. @AlboMP and his team need to learn, you cannot tax your way to a stronger economy. Capital follows incentives. wilsonassetmanagement.com.au…

After what happened to Helen Haines you'd have to be a total mug or completely out of touch with tech to not understand how algorithms motivate stupid people to commit violent acts by putting content that makes people rage 24/7/365. Not an ALP fan but you are one dumb old rag.
Anika, is it a digital duty of care? Or a ban on disagreeing with Labor? The Coalition will strongly oppose the Albanese Government's attempts to control what you can see on social media.

Why would we ever want to go to war with our biggest trading partner? We'd be better off having a security pact with China, they are far more important to modern Australia than the US, which is a nation in moral & intellectual decline. Cancel AUKUS, scrap ANZUS, exit the QUAD.
This is an incredibly dangerous precedent and confirms all the dangers of AUKUS - wargaming Australia as the base for a US war with China - and us even paying for it. We need to end AUKUS before this becomes real.
23
We've got a situation in this country where people mouth off utter nonsense & when stupid people buy into it, it can result in violence. Mostly, the temperature has been turned up by right wing & conservative people, case in point ON & LNP supporters. All scum.
You have to go back decades to find an attack on an Australian MP that’s comparable to the one on Helen Haines. It signifies a serious regression in our political landscape and breakdown of social cohesion. The finger will be pointed by both sides in the absence of answers about who and why they did it. This is to be expected. We need a transparent investigation and the findings should be condemned across our increasingly fragmented community regardless of the findings. On a positive note, I haven’t seen anybody on this platform celebrating it. I’m sure they exist, but I’m glad they’re not on my feed.

Not sure if you remember a few years back, Jacqui was using similar rhetoric about immigrants as ON, but she stopped at a point, because it didn't work for her politically. Sure, she's better than PH but I still think she's more of an opportunist & grandstander than anything else
I've had Jacqui Lambie as a guest on my Reddit Q&A forum in the past, and she is a wonderful human being. Pauline Hanson is the opposite end of the scale, not even fit to tie Jacqui's bootlaces.

Nothing to do with migration. Everything to do with zero opportunities for youth & a diabolical cost of living crisis. Not a single govt across the western world has been able to solve it, in fact most govts have made the problem worse by spending too much money as a % of GDP.
One Nation are falsely claiming the riots in France are caused by migration. This is a deliberate lie aimed to incite hatred and division. The protestors in France are students protesting about underfunded and overcrowded schools.

While the investigation continues in the appalling Helen Haines incident, it's safe to say the political temperature in Australia has been raised by conservative trash & low intelligence right wing people in general. These are very sick people.
