Apple has officially released iOS 27.2! 🚨
Here's what's new:
• Apple Pencil support for iPhone Duo
• New Apple Music design and app icon
• Siri AI improvements and new languages
• Suggested Actions in Messages
• New features for Apple Podcasts
• User profiles in the Apple TV app
• Dual Capture for Group FaceTime
• New smart lock controls in the Home app
• HomePod Lock Controls
• Improvements to Photos and more
Pre-order cancelled. I've had enough of the endless waiting, and all the negative reports have completely put me off. I really wanted to give the iPhone Duo a chance, but this launch is turning into an absolute disaster.

🎮 Just jumped into my first multiplayer match on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 (MW4) and got a pleasant surprise!
🇮🇳 Happy to see the MUMBAI! A Frontline map set in India! 🔥🎮
I've been playing COD for years, and this is the first time I've personally come across a multiplayer map set in India!

Reports of display failures along the crease are already emerging from multiple countries. If this becomes widespread, Apple could be facing a serious durability problem. Would you still trust a foldable iPhone at launch, or wait for the second generation?
Foldable iPhone Duo devices are reportedly breaking in large numbers, with displays failing along the hinge crease.
Buyers in Japan, China, Australia, and other countries have reported the same issue. In some cases, the display reportedly fails while the phone is still on display in stores.
The symptoms are identical: after just a few days of use, a black line appears across the screen.

Crafted with a premium metal frame that feels as solid as it looks. ✨

For £1,999? I'd say wait for the second generation! 👀
Reviewers are praising the design and display, but the heavy build, missing Face ID, camera compromises and poorly optimised apps make it a tough sell.
And now there's footage showing a surprisingly uneven, bumpy display surface beneath the anti-glare film. If genuine, that's another worrying discovery! 😳
Apple's first foldable is impressive, but impressive doesn't always mean worth buying.
Once everyday users get their hands on the Duo, I wouldn't be surprised to see a wave of returns as the excitement wears off and the compromises become harder to ignore.
Would you really spend £2,000 on a first-gen iPhone with this many compromises? 🤔📱
Wait… so Apple's solution to an uneven foldable display is to cover it up with a film? 💀😂
If genuine, that's quite a discovery! Is this normal for foldables?
Would you accept this on a £2,000+ iPhone, or should Apple be held to a MUCH higher standard at that price? 👀📱
Unbelievable! The iPhone Duo's display has been hiding a shocking secret!
Someone finally dared to peel off the matte film covering the iPhone Duo's display, and what they discovered was astonishing.
With the film removed, the screen underneath looks surprisingly uneven, with visible bumps, ripples, and even wrinkles!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This isn't a hidden secret: Apple has publicly confirmed the matte nano-texture layer is intentionally peelable and replaceable. Apple VP Kate Bergeron said customers can peel it off and get a new one, and Apple offers an official $19 replacement service for this exact layer. macrumors.com/2026/10/01/iph… iphoneincanada.ca/2026/10/01/app…
Shipment is BACK! 🔥💀 Absolute CHAOS, non-stop action, crazy spawn kills and pure madness from start to finish! 😂🎮
One of my all-time favourite COD maps, and I’ll never get tired of it!
Who else is jumping straight into Shipment on October 27th? 👀🔥
Apple launching the most expensive iPhone yet… and somehow deliver a worse experience than the competition! 🤯

I'm not buying the iPhone Duo if I can't get it on Day 1
I'm not buying it for personal use. I'm buying it to review, test it, and compare it with Samsung and Xiaomi Fold. Getting the device on Day 1 is crucial because that's when the views make it worth the investment. Even then, we often struggle to recover the full cost of the device.
Spending $3,000 on a phone only to receive it a month later makes absolutely no business sense. By then, the hype is gone, the views are down, and the investment simply isn't worth it.
At this point, GTA 6 getting delayed again is a bigger threat than anything on this list. 💀😂
Imagine surviving everything life throws at you, only for Rockstar to announce another delay in November!
GTA 6 officially launches next month.
Here is how to stay alive until November 19:
- Look both ways before crossing the road
- Wear your seatbelt
- Don’t text and drive
- Stay away from random fights
- Don’t climb anything you can fall off
- Don’t eat anything suspicious
- Get enough sleep
- Drink water
- Avoid doing anything that starts with “watch this”
- Absolutely no “one last crazy thing before GTA 6”
We’ve made it this far. Don’t fumble the final month… please.
But here's the real question: was it a mistake, or is Apple enjoying the hype and headlines? 👀
Samsung should be worried! 👀🔥
Apple could seriously shake up the foldable market.
Real-world durability, the crease and software experience will ultimately decide the winner.
Samsung Fold owners, is the iPhone Duo enough to tempt you to switch? 🤔
