In a functional democratic republic, it would be Elon Musk's house getting raided for his destruction of America through bribery. Instead, we have this fumbling fascism.
The Office of Congresswoman Omar released the following statement: “This raid by Trump’s DHS is an outrageous abuse of power and an unprecedented escalation in the weaponization of federal law enforcement to target political enemies. For a decade, Donald Trump has relentlessly targeted Congresswoman Ilhan Omar with inflammatory rhetoric, repeatedly putting a target on her back. Now, those attacks have escalated to a pointless federal raid. The Congresswoman has done nothing wrong. No president should be able to use the power of the federal government to intimidate his political enemies.”

DHS raiding a member of congress's home to search for immigration paperwork filled out decades ago by her now-deceased father really checks all the fascist police state boxes.

The Republican Party is the party of borrowing and spending until they've jacked up the national debt to ungodly levels, while sanctimoniously pretending to be "deficit hawks". They're like the card guards who always lie to keep folks stuck in their labyrinth
Since 1965, there have been 6 fiscal years when federal spending fell relative to the preceding year: 🔵1965 - LBJ 🔵2010 - Obama 🔵2012 - Obama 🔵2013 - Obama 🔵2022 - Biden 🔵2023 - Biden No Republican president in the last 60 years has cut spending vs. prior year.

Zelensky says that Russia is helping Iran kill our troops. In the Oval Office on Friday, Trump said Putin told him he wasn’t and he trusts him that he was telling the truth.

Pushing the United States into disastrous wars. What a proud legacy for Lindsey Graham.
🇺🇸🇮🇷 Unreleased documentary footage of the late Sen. Lindsey Graham reveals his years-long effort to push for regime change in Iran and lobby President Trump to expand U.S. military action against Iran, according to WSJ. The footage shows Graham speaking candidly with world leaders and expressing surprise at the level of access he had as he advocated for the war. In one recorded call, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu urged Graham not to press Trump to join Israeli strikes against Hezbollah in Lebanon, arguing that opening another front while focusing on Iran would be a mistake. Graham agreed, calling it "good counsel." The documentary also captures Graham celebrating the launch of U.S. strikes on Iran, saying, "Look what we've done here. I almost cried," He also added that Trump told him the operation was the "best thing I have ever done" and that he "loves blowing stuff up." The footage further shows Graham lobbying Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for support, coordinating with military officials, and discussing the conflict with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and other world leaders. In its final interview, filmed weeks before his death, Graham expressed frustration with Trump's decision to sign a preliminary agreement with Iran, saying the president was "letting this thing slip away" and that he needed to speak with him. The documentary also shows Graham complaining that too few administration officials were publicly defending the war, despite his belief that the campaign should be expanded.

If someone claims to be a law enforcement officer but is refusing to confirm their identity and their law enforcement authority, what reasonable person would treat them as a legitimate law enforcement officer?
🚨BREAKING: Men posed as ICE agents and detained and assaulted a woman… and Tom Homan is telling everyone that they just have to comply with this. A woman was driving on Highway 211, in Oregon, when a vehicle with flashing red and blue lights pulled behind her. Believing she was being stopped by law enforcement, she pulled over. Two men approached her vehicle, one was carrying a rifle, and they claimed to be ICE agents and told her she was being detained. They pulled her out of her car, searched her, and put her in the back of their vehicle. Then, a third man… who remained inside the vehicle… assaulted her. He told her he was the “guard.” The men were wearing tactical vests labeled “POLICE,” carrying fake badges, and wore face coverings. They held her for nearly 20 minutes before telling her she was free to go… and then she drove herself to the hospital. And while she was there, she reported that she started receiving text messages from someone claiming to be a law firm offering legal representation for her detention. Federal authorities later confirmed this was NOT an official ICE operation… These were people pretending to be federal agents. And this is exactly why Tom Homan telling people to “comply” with anyone claiming to be ICE is so incredibly dangerous. Because what is a person supposed to do when someone in a tactical vest, carrying a gun, pulls them over with flashing lights and says they are federal agents? Just trust them? This is not about telling people to resist legitimate law enforcement. This is about the government normalizing a system where anyone can look like an armed federal agent, claim to have authority over you, and expect you to obey without being able to verify who they are. That doesn’t make people safer. It makes everyone more vulnerable to being kidnapped, assaulted, or killed by criminals who know they can pretend to be ICE.

Republicans are the party of massive AI data centers. Because as we've all seen, regardless of what any individual Republican says, in the end, they will always look the other way and let Donald Trump do what's best for Donald Trump.
Trump on Data Centers in Communities: Other nations are spending a lot of money on propaganda trying to convince everybody that this isn't a positive thing. You have some communities that really want the data centers. Those are the smart communities. Very little disruption. They’re begging for them.

The Trump administration protects sexual predators.
BREAKING: Leaked Andrew Tate texts are looking VERY bad for the Trump admin… Texts from Andrew Tate reveal that a Trump admin official directly intervened on the Tate brothers behalf in early 2025 to stall the sex trafficking investigation. “I had word from The Trump admin that theyre on top of things,” wrote Andrew Tate via text. Tate’s former lawyer, Paul Ingrassia, is now a Trump admin official, and is the one who requested the Tate brothers devices be returned to them. You may remember Paul Ingrassia from his leaked texts last year in which he said he “has a Nazi streak” and uses old slurs.
JD Vance still follows the Tate brothers on Twitter. Barron is friends him them. All of this happened after Andrew admitted to being a pimp on camera. This is the Republican Party now. I’m a young dude who loves America, and hates seeing it hijacked by these hateful , abusive, degenerates.

Imagine the country we could build if more people realized all the things that our government is doing to us and on our behalf without our knowledge.
Deeply disturbing story. Survivors of US boat strikes allege they were kidnapped and tortured for days by the US military. The prosecutor investigating the claims was just assassinated.

No president in American history has sold his foreign policy this openly.  Days before Trump took office, a company controlled by the United Arab Emirates national security adviser paid $500,000,000 for a 49% stake in the Trump family crypto venture, World Liberty Financial. Trump’s own financial disclosure released last month shows he personally pocketed $263,000,000 from that sale. It was one of the largest single chunks of his income for the year. Now the payoff. Last week Trump’s Commerce Department reclassified the UAE so its main AI company, controlled by the same royal who bought into his crypto firm, can freely buy the most advanced American chips. It moved the UAE out of a group that included China and into the group with our closest allies. Industry analysts say the access is worth billions. A foreign government put a quarter of a billion dollars in the President’s pocket. Then that same government got a favor from his administration worth billions. National security experts have already raised concerns about those chips being diverted to China. Presidents used to put their assets in a blind trust so nobody could ever ask this question. Trump kept his and cashed the check. Either we will end the corruption, or the corruption will be the end of us. wsj.com/world/middle-east/ua…

Dear @RealTomHoman: Can you please review the evidence and videos before you go on national TV and say stupid shit and lie to the American people? If you actually review the evidence in these multiple shootings you will see that ICE / BP are out of control, rogue agencies.
Brennan: "These were fatal shootings in Houston and Maine — and in Houston, it was an unmarked car." Homan: "They have emergency lights and sirens…We'll see how the investigation plays out, but they would be alive today if they simply complied with the vehicle stop by federal law enforcement. Just comply." Brennan: "The family of the man in Houston thought he was being robbed because it was an unmarked vehicle — not that was law enforcement at all." Homan: "They had emergency lights. They activate emergency light." Brennan: "You've seen that on video? Because we haven't…In the videos that we've seen there aren't. And because there weren't body cameras, it is hard to substantiate some of what you are sayings." Homan: "I have not seen the videos, but I am saying our vehicles are equipped with emergency lights. Now, if they didn't activate the lights — again, I haven't seen that video — if they didn't activate their lights, then there's an issue there. But I'm saying they are equipped with lights. So let me just caveat that, they should have been equipped with lights and sirens. But I do not know specifically if they activated those lights."

ICE beat him so violently that he couldn’t remember his own daughter. Then they lied about it. Alberto Castañeda Mondragón’s skull was fractured in eight places. He had bleeding on his brain and spent nearly a month in the hospital. ICE claims he simply ran into a wall. Even the doctors and nurses didn’t believe ICE’s story. Alberto, a legal resident with a green card, was just shopping in St. Paul when ICE agents pulled him out of his car. Stories like Alberto’s are all too common with ICE. Beatings and shootings of detainees and even legal observers have been detailed time and time again. And ICE keeps lying, despite judges, courts, and even doctors revealing their lies. We must hold ICE accountable for its actions. Victims of their violence deserve justice

Over half of the amendments in the Bill of Rights are being fought over as a direct result of Trump’s immigration enforcement surge in Minnesota. “You could teach a great constitutional law seminar about the Bill of Rights just through the violations that have taken place in Minneapolis alone. There have been massive violations of the civil rights of minority groups in the past, like Native Americans and African Americans and Asian Americans, but it is hard to sum up any historical analogy to the systematic violation of all of the fundamental constitutional rights of the people in such a comprehensive and indiscriminate way.” - Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., former constitutional law professor at American University’s Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C.

ICE shatter car window in front of newborn to detain father—refuse to look at his legal documents. First gave agents REAL ID driver's license. "That's nothing to us," agent replied. Next he handed agents his work visa. "That ain't shit," agent laughed. He ran out of fear only after agents dragged him out of his car and started hitting him. Agents then mocked him for being Guatemalan—even though he's from Mexico—and laughed in his face when he begged to say goodbye to his wife and newborn baby. Juan Martin Espindola Ramirez is absolutely living legally in the U.S. Judge issued him a U-Visa—a specific court ordered visa for victims of a crime who assist law enforcement. The incident occurred during a traffic stop on Nolensville Pike in South Nashville, Tennessee. #DemsUnited
