The old "conflating a crime with a conflict" bullshit.
Armenian Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan: "Armenians should build relations with Azerbaijanis, Armenian society should move away from a ‘planet where only Armenians live." "When something about your neighbor is bothering you - be sure that the same issue is bothering them too. When you say that so many of my people have been killed, they also have lost many. There are mothers, too; they love their children the same way, whether the mother is Azerbaijani, Georgian, Armenian, or Russian. We need to move away from this “planet of Armenians.” There is a planet where only Armenians live. And I believe we are a wise people, and we can understand that. And the French and the English, they fought for 100 years. They called each other “frog-eaters” and “pigs.” They hated each other. They are now allies, they build the economy together, and they jointly set the rules. And what are we supposed to do? What is the choice? And doesn’t a person living in Azerbaijan see the Armenian flag? Doesn’t it bother him? Didn’t we kill anyone there? Was the war all one-sided? And why can they, but we can’t? #Armenians and #Azerbaijanis, We must live together, we must trade, and we must talk. We have a lot in common in everyday life and in traditions." Alen Simonyan said in an interview with Radio Van

🚨 REMINDER! Azerbaijani armed forces currently occupy at least 241 sq km of Armenia’s internationally recognized territory. 🇦🇲 If the Azerbaijani government truly wanted peace, it would withdraw from occupied Armenian land. The current Pashinyan government says nothing.

Azerbaijan is once again bribing the Vatican so that it won’t comment on their destruction of Armenian churches, monuments, and cemeteries
🇦🇿Azerbaijan to restore statues at the Vatican The Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Vatican administration have signed an agreement to restore several historic statues. The project includes conservation work on statues of Saint Paul and Saint Peter inside the Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls, as well as statues of Saint Paul and Saint Luke in the basilica’s courtyard.

#Azerbaijan cleared forest in the "Shikahogh" Reserve: Ministry of Environment is aware, but Nikol Pashinyan "doesn't know" 1/ I have already written that it is simply impossible "not to notice" the deforestation in this area; one only needs to look at a map. #Armenia #Syunik

Armenians experienced a new genocide. In 2023, Azerbaijan removed the entire Armenian population of Nagorno-Karabakh from its ancestral homeland and, as in 1915, imprisoned its leaders. The rights of Nagorno-Karabakh’s people are not exclusively an Armenian problem. Genocide denial affects non-Armenians as well, including myself. It affects the foundations of civilization. It is another challenge to the international legal system affecting humanity's possibility to live in peace. #FreeArmenianHostages #EUrespectEUCharter

Israel's imports of Azeri oil via Turkey hit a three-year high, despite Turkey's supposed trade ban on Israel. It's abundantly clear that the tension between Turkey and Israel is theatrical.
Opinion: Continuing to label Turkey as a reliable NATO ally is dangerous, as Ankara’s ambitions erode the very alliance structures that have long sustained Western security. jpost.com/opinion/article-89…

Yes. Azerbaijan has destroyed far more: at least 89 medieval Armenian churches (plus 5,840 khachkars and 22,000 tombstones) in Nakhchivan alone since the 1990s, with dozens more churches and heritage sites leveled in Nagorno-Karabakh post-2020/2023 per Caucasus Heritage Watch satellite data. ISIS destroyed dozens (est. 40-50 in Mosul, fewer in Syria).

It's not a "movement". First of all, it was already legally independent. NKAO legally seceded. Second of all, the right to self-determination, territorial integrity, & autonomy is not a subversive rogue concept. If Artsakhstis do not have rights, then no Armenians have rights.
🇦🇲🇦🇿 Karabakh movement should not continue, says Prime Minister Pashinyan “I have already publicly stated in Armenia that we should not continue the #Karabakh movement, as Armenia and Azerbaijan have recognized each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity under the Alma-Ata Declaration,” the Prime Minister said. 📹Video Credit: Смотри Медиа

This is the behavior of someone who couldn't tell you what Palm Sunday signifies if a gun was held to his head. It symbolizes a reckoning, like the reckoning on No Kings Day, like the reckoning eshig Pashinyan will face when he is driven out of this country like the dog he is.
Shame on the Armenian dictatorship of Nikol Pashinyan for attacking worshippers during a holy church service. #pashinyanregime #armenia

History is being rewritten at mach speed now.
1.Armenia’s PM saying Nagorno-Karabakh’s leaders (many in Baku jails now) held their people hostage. 2.Azerbaijan’s shadow FM, Azeri regime vicious propagandist Amirbayov claiming Armenian leaders held their own people hostage during Azerbaijan’s genocidal 9-month blockade.

Hey, @antontroian, @carlottagall, @atanessi, @INechepurenko, @mattmbigg, & everyone else who implied/stated Armenians were guilty of hubris... Do you still believe there was snowball's chance in hell that Azerbaijan could ever have been a good faith partner in a peace process???
Kinda seems like the president of Azerbaijan missed the point of the “Board of Peace” 🤷🏼

"INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNIZED" IS NOT INTERNATIONAL LAW!! Repeat after me!! "Internationally recognized" is not international law! "Internationally recognized" just means you & your big brother, Israel (owner of @nytimes), lied so much for so long, you got everyone to believe you.
❗️🇦🇿🇦🇲The National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan protested against the program of figure skaters representing Armenia. The Azerbaijani Olympic Committee filed a complaint about the use of the song "Artsakh" during the performances of figure skaters Nikita Rakhmanin and Karina Akopova, who represented Armenia at the 25th Winter Olympic Games. The statement of the Azerbaijani side says that the expression "«Artsakh» allegedly reflects the ideological essence of the separatist policy" pursued by Armenia in relation to the internationally recognized territories of Azerbaijan.

“Dr. Oz is painting Armenians with a broad brush, tarring the entire Armenian American community for the alleged crimes of a few individuals. This sort of ethnic scapegoating against Americans of Armenian heritage is as toxic as it is dangerous, all the more so when done by a dual Turkish citizen – an unapologetic genocide denier who served proudly in Turkey’s armed forces. More evidence that the ANCA was right to keep Dr. Oz out the U.S. Senate in 2022.” [Pictured: Major media coverage of the ANCA’s successful efforts to block Dr. Oz’s 2020 Senate bid from Pennsylvania.]

Is this the “Dr” Oz revenge tour cuz he lost his senatorial election to John Fetterman in pennsylvania where the Turk/Azeri lobby failed to trick local voters that Dr Oz is somehow a competent senator? the Armenian grassroots efforts were a big reason why he lost that election

I have an idea! Why don't we all stop giving this Pashinyan vs. Karekin thing attention??? It is clearly designed to distract from the fact that we are about to lose Syunik. So, stop falling for it!
