A New Jersey-based fan named Rev Ciancio visited 77 different ballparks this season. At each one, he would get a hot dog with mustard, eat it after “Take Me Out to the Ballgame,” and grade it. Here are his top 10: 10. Joliet Slammers (National Association of Professional Baseball): A “rock solid” offering. 9. Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs (Triple-A PHI): “Exactly what a ballpark hot dog is supposed to taste like.” 8. Sussex County Miners (National Association of Professional Baseball): “They’re the only team that I’ve been to that has a ripper, where they’re actually deep-frying the hot dog.” 7. Albuquerque Isotopes (Triple-A COL): “It’s almost foul to highlight how good the hot dog was because there’s so much good there.” 6. Boston Red Sox: “This is one of the Major League stadiums where the lore of the hot dog holds true.” 5. Richmond Flying Squirrels (Double-A SF): “It was just a well-rounded hot dog. Like there was magic and you don’t know why.” 4. Brooklyn Cyclones (High-A NYM): “It’s part of their culture to have a good hot dog.” 3. Chicago Cubs: “I feel like Chicago teams have a right and a duty to produce good hot dogs.” 2. Chicago Dogs (American Association): The poppyseed bun was an “ingredient difference maker.” 1. Reading Fightin Phils (Double-A Phillies): “When you eat a hot dog at Reading, it’s as though every single hot dog was individually cooked. One person took one hot dog and made sure it was perfect.” Read about Ray here: atmlb.com/4sjmoGx

facebook.com/share/v/1cYPBHa… Yep, Vogt tried to change everything about pitching and nothing about the hitting.

Messick praying before taking the mound and then loading the bases and giving up a run on a walk is the clearest proof I’ve ever seen that nobody is listening you cannot convince me that was part of god’s plan

Girl, your audacity is in the luxury tax bracket, but your intellect is on public assistance. Imagine confusing financial literacy with poverty. Having money doesn't require being stupid with it. Clearly, your imaginary luxury lifestyle came without common sense.

There's CLEARLY a market for it if the pricing works for them. Don't hate because you live an underfunded life.

We had hoped the Guardians' worst moments were behind them. Instead, all their warts are now out in the open for the country to see. Barring a miracle, this may finally be the end of "Guards Ball." It has not worked in the postseason & it's hard to imagine it ever will.

Since 2017, Cleveland has lost 18 of 20 postseason games when scoring 3 or fewer runs & won 9 of 11 when scoring 4+. You can read more about this in my upcoming e-book, "Guards Should Try To Score 4+ Runs Today." I'm trying to write it quickly to get it to you in next 15 minutes.

The @CleGuardians need to fire every staff member involved in hitting in the organization. They’ve had such a great pitching culture organizationally over the decades, but it’s the been the complete opposite when it comes to hitting. Get rid of everybody.

That sucks, but also you need to get more than 2 runs and 2 hits in a playoff games.

“Fight them with fire, gentlemen!” As the White Sox and Guardians face each other in the AL playoffs for the first time ever, here’s a fun look back at how these two franchises launched the AL in the first place. @MLB mlb.com/news/how-chicago-cle…

I’m all for teams doing whatever they fan to create a home field advantage, but the Brewers putting an ad behind home plate promoting a website telling fans to boo the Padres’ starting pitcher is a little classless imo

I am quite sincere about some of the things which people take very lightly, and almost insultingly unconcerned about some of the things which people take most seriously.
