Finally posting my 9-11 Footage to @X - bracing myself for the comments,
But this was my honest experience / POV on that fateful day - the view from the ground ( or roof ) at a time when we did not know what was happening, as the city was being shut down and we were trapped on the island of Manhattan, as we thought Sarin Gas attacks were occurring as well, as we thought there would be people in need of blood donors at our hospitals, as no cell phones were working, as my land-line became a life-line for neighbors, as people still thought it was an accident, as people picked up dry cleaning and headed to work unaware what happened, as my friends were told to stay in a subway car parked beneath the towers ( they didn't listen ) as so many things occurred that I witnessed first hand, from people cheering and dancing, to people realizing everyone in their workplace was gone on the day they took an extra day off...
it took me 10 years to watch the tape and post on YouTube, it's taken me 14 more years to post it on X. Still processing I guess.
I'll shut my trap and let the footage speak for itself.

Cool
Everyone said "Hey Grok" was impossible on iPhone. Even Grok said Apple keeps wake words for Siri only. So I kept digging, and I found a way. Now I just say "Hey Grok" and Grok Bot voice chat opens. No extra apps, no cost, all built into iOS.
How to set it up:
1. Make sure your Grok Bot app is up to date
2. Shortcuts app → + → Add Action → search "Grok Bot" → pick "Start Voice Chat with Bot"
3. Settings → Accessibility → Vocal Shortcuts → Set Up → pick that shortcut → type "Hey Grok" and say it 3 times
4. In the shortcut's details, turn on "Allow Running When Locked"
If your phone is locked, iOS asks for one tap first. If Face ID already unlocked it, it's fully hands-free.

“Disposable Heroes” is one of the longest, most aggressive songs Metallica ever wrote, an eight-minute anti-war assault.
This is Germany, 1985, the night they debuted it live, months before Master of Puppets even came out. And it’s one of only three times Cliff Burton ever played it. He’d be gone a year later.

New York City. 1972.
The cars. The clothes. The signs. The crowds. The way people carried themselves.
It’s amazing how much ordinary life can change in 54 years.
What happened?

25 years ago, terrorists killed nearly 3,000 people, including 2,753 New Yorkers.
As we remember that terrible day, let us also remember the first responders, office workers and strangers who ran toward danger to help each other. Let us remember the extraordinary compassion, resilience and bravery that carried our city through its darkest
day.
Today, New York remembers. We will Never Forget.

Rescue 1 lost 11 men that morning. They drove toward the towers knowing the math and went in anyway. Their firehouse on 43rd street still runs calls today, same rigs rolling past the same faces who remember. That's the part that stays with me, the ones who went up the stairs while everyone else came down

🚨WOW!!!
A Bronx pizzeria owner saw a woman eating out of his GARBAGE.
He walked outside, took her by the hand, led her in, and pulled a hot slice straight from the oven for her.
She sat down and cried. He said: "Don't cry. Eat. I don't want you eating out of a garbage." ❤️
His name is Daniel Romano.
He owns D'Romano's Pizza in the Throggs Neck section of the Bronx.
He didn't shoo her away.
"I grabbed her by the hand and I led her to the pizzeria and I went in the oven and I got her a fresh slice and gave it to her. Sat down and she started crying. I said, 'don't cry, eat. This is not a problem.'"
In that moment, he decided he'd never let it happen to anyone again.
So he grabbed a marker, wrote a sign by hand, and taped it in his window for the whole neighborhood to see:
"To the people eating out of my garbage, I have more love for you than you think. Please come in and tell me you're hungry. I will forever give you a slice and fresh water to drink."
When they asked him why, his answer was simple.
"Right now, I think this world is shot. There's too much hate. Too much negativity. Why not put a smile on someone's face?"
And it turns out this runs deep for Daniel.
It goes all the way back to his mother, Carmella.
"She had a saying in Italian. She used to say, 'a desperate person will always make a better decision on a full stomach than on an empty.'
"It always stuck with me. So I feed people."
A desperate person makes a better decision on a full stomach.
That handwritten sign has traveled way past the Bronx now.
Daniel says people are calling him from Texas, Arkansas, Hawaii, even Alaska, all wanting to chip in and buy slices for hungry strangers they'll NEVER MEET.
"Don't ask me, I didn't even know Alaska had a phone."
It all started with one slice.
One woman.
One man who did something kind.
GOD BLESS Daniel Romano. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
