At this point I would refer to myself as a "semi-retired" QB scout since I have produced a ton of content over the last few seasons. I still watch way too much tape, chart and take notes so here is the result: My 2026 QB Prospect rankings docs.google.com/document/d/1…

What is the correlation between how much tickets cost and winning? If correlations don’t matter then sounds like those can be low relative to top of the market, too.
Jerry Jones on @1053thefan on him not paying top dollar for coaches: “There is zero correlation (in the NFL) between how much you pay a coach or how many coaches you have as to winning. There is no correlation. And that’s a random sample of years and all 32 teams involved. So put that in your hopper and smoke it.”

Mike McCarthy's Steelers are 6-2 Matthew Eberflus' Niners are 6-1 Micah Parson's Packers are 5-3 Demarcus Lawrence won a Super Bowl last season and his Seahawks are 4-3 Kellen Moore won a Super Bowl in Philly in 2024 Maybe, just maybe, it's the GM Owner and Franchise operating in general why Dallas continues to fall short... not the good players and coaches we continue to blame and force out the building

That is one of the most embarrassing losses in Dallas Cowboys franchise history. Brian Schottenheimer is so in over his head. He is directly responsible for this team's misgivings against Arizona, this season, and across his entire tenure. They go nowhere with him.

Imagine if Brian had tried to pick up yardage at the end of the first half to help Brandon Aubrey not have to try a 61-yard field goal that he missed. Or, you know, imagine any of the other 100 decisions he botched going the other way.

People should be held accountable for this. They could have gotten this man killed.
How committed is Jalen Hurts to football? After initially being diagnosed with a superficial blood clot in London, doctors told him not to sleep as a precaution, so he had been awake for roughly 36 hours when he started against the Jaguars, throwing for 220 yards and a TD.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts is expected to be sidelined for multiple months after new imaging over the weekend found several blood clots in his lungs. Hurts is now on blood thinners and should have no long-term effects. But it’s unlikely he plays again this season.

I don’t care who he plays for, Hurts is an A+ human by all accounts. Praying for a quick recover and a long healthy life @JalenHurts

We see from time to time how certain defensive coordinators are able to win the chess match against Dak Prescott. It would be so freaking cool if Dak could have a play-caller who could do battle with them. But he doesn't. On his own out there.

Most important thing is Jalen’s health. Hoping the best for him. In terms of the football ramifications, this now ensures he will miss next Monday night’s game against the Cowboys. Obviously that was assumed, but again now it is official.
Breaking: After consultations with numerous doctors and experts that went into Saturday, the #Eagles are placing quarterback Jalen Hurts on injured reserve, sources tell @AdamSchefter and me. Hurts is now out for the foreseeable future. More information coming…

The Dallas Cowboys lost. The Philadelphia Eagles lost. The New York Giants and Washington Commanders tied, partly because the Commanders threw away a chance to win. The NFC East is a disaster and a joke and utter trash.

I get Dak and Schotty saying whah they did about this. But Cowboys fans have been through it. Over 30 years. All the things. And every time fans give the team an inch of trust and belief they disappoint. It is by definition embarrassing. Embarrassing to be a fan right now.
"This feels up there in terms of shame and embarrassment." 😳 @rjochoa said he understands the sentiment after the "embarrassing" comment towards Dak Prescott following the Cowboys' loss to the Bucs. (via Yahoo Sports Daily)
