A man of limited ability displaying it at every opportunity.
He really is one of the most over promoted people in politics based on ability

This should be the lead news story today. It's huge!
Bravo Burnham, the food deal with the EU is a key first step on the urgently required reset of UK' arrangenents with our neighbours. Of course, the Brexiteers will go into meltdown, but we can't let their anger stand in the way of what is essential & rational. We simply can't flourish without a new relationship with the EU. Go for it Andy!
Why aren't news broadcasters leading with the Draft Agreement with the EU on Food and Associated Products? It includes a re-acceptance of the the UK Pet Passport which I am sure will be welcomed by many people. The agreement will hugely benefit food and produce exporters. So Why?

🤦♀️ WATCH: @JamesCleverly who hopes to be London Mayor where 67% want to rejoin the EU 🤡
His extraordinary argument? Britain can’t rejoin the world’s largest trading bloc, with an estimated potential 6% boost to GDP, because we might have to leave a trade deal on the other side of the world worth about 0.08%.
That’s a 75-fold difference.
Why should Britain rule out a far bigger opportunity to protect one of Brexit’s tiniest claimed gains?
The journey back to a sensible working mutually UK/EU agreement has begun. Than Goodness. At last! BBC News - UK and EU agree draft deal to scrap Brexit red tape over food exports

How about you spending two minutes researching Miliband's parents and finding out that they were part of the anti-Stalinist left? Neither were ever members of the CPGB. Stalinist regimes would have shot them.
A thought. How do Reform and Restore MPs deal with Asylum, Residency and Citizenship issues raised by their Constituents at Constiuency Surgeries? (Clacton Excluded of Course!) Are there not rules or regulations to ensure all constituents receive fair and equitable treatment?
wonder is, as Reform turn the UK Clock back to 1955 they'll rescind the laws banning Fish and Chips being served in newspaper. That way, at least, they'll find a use for their Reformer Newspaper.

This should be front-page news across every media outlet, but we’re in 2026.
In 2026, we have become immune to scandal and inured to disaster.
A story that should shame our nation due to the sheer scale of corruption and incompetence barely makes a dent in the national narrative.
Nigel Farage said something about immigration again — is all we get now.
Truly important stories like this are being suppressed by the shift to TikTok and 𝕏 as news outlets.
The algorithm makes the news, not the story.

Wonder if the MoD has considered trying to lease back all those "retired" frigates they sold to South American Navies? They seem to be still capable, serving and seaworthy which must say something about how they've treated Type23.

All 3 parties on the right going in to an election with “Keep Brexit” are headed for obliteration. Honestly, it would be better to just wave the white flag and say “We don’t support it but we get it - the mood’s changed and we’re looking at a very different electorate and demographics”. But oh no, Badenoch and Farage - the most stubborn, cocky, unpersonable people politics could possibly throw up - will stuck to their suicidal positions. All for it, every time they get visibly ratty because they backed this catastrophic project so hard, it’s comedy telly. Leave’em to it.

Brexit may yet produce the most passionately pro-European generation in British history: people who understand what was lost, and are determined to win it back.

Two years after our "Bohemian Trumpsody" #Queen parody (on Trump's presidential election, with footage from the Capitol attack - see below), here's our take on Freddie Mercury's high-energy belter, twisted to the forthcoming #Midterms, which we're calling:
👉"Go, Stop Him Now!"
Here's our last parody song about the #USElection2024. It's called "Bohemian Trumpsody" (based on the inimitable @QueenWillRock but with only six voices & no overdubs) & we've self-trolled in it as 'libtards' already, just to save folks time who might be offended 🎶🗳️🤞

Me Too.
💔 Brexit broke my heart, it still makes me cry 😭 often.
I have felt incredibly sad and at times frightened about Brexit impact.
For me, Europe was never principally about GDP, trade deals or regulations. Europe is about peace; countries that spent centuries fighting one another deciding that their futures were safer intertwined.
And it is about protecting our shared European culture, our democracy and our security.
And so many of the things I feared in 2016 have since happened. War has returned to Europe. Putin’s killing machine continues its assault on Ukraine. And Trump’s America has itself gone to war with Iran while its relationship with Europe is fractious.
Do we continue looking across the Atlantic and hoping America will always guarantee our security and defend our interests? Or do we recognise the simple reality of our geography?
We are European. Europe isn’t perfect, nothing is. But European unity was never based upon the proposition that European countries would be perfect, it was built upon the knowledge of what can happen when Europe is divided.
The lesson of Suez wasn’t that Britain needed America more. Britain, France and our European neighbours need each other.
Britain’s future and Europe’s future are inseparable. 🇬🇧🇪🇺
