🚨POLITICAL PAYOLA?
A Detroit talk radio host and pastor endorsed @AbdulElSayed in an interview last week, & urged people to make "ten phone calls" to support him.
El-Sayed paid $75,000 to the pastor's nonprofit for "political consulting," records show freebeacon.com/democrats/abd…

She makes this insane statement to @chrislhayes, and he just glosses right over it and moves on.
A curious person or a non-hack would pause and ask, “Wait, you can’t say with certainty you didn’t marry your brother?”

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) when asked by MS Now tonight if she married her brother:
"Not to my knowledge."

Love that he shakes his head about the first two lies, but then is just stone faced about his lie about being an Egyptian dual citizen…not even gonna try to dodge that one, where his best case scenario is the lie.
What they're all trying to do here is make you forget that El-Sayed is the one who unequivocally stated on "Meet the Press" that he had no affiliations to MB or family members in it. xitter.cf/AbdulElSayedHQ/status/…
EL-SAYED: He keeps raising this question about this association with an organization I've never been a part of because my mom, who's a nurse in Missouri? It's really quite beneath you.
ROGERS, INTERRUPTING: Own up to it.
EL-SAYED: I'm talking. Excuse me. Can I have a few more seconds?
MODERATOR: Yes, go ahead.
El-Sayed musters fake outrage about Muslim Brotherhood and shifts goalposts:
"He keeps raising this question about this association with an organization I've never been a part of, because my mom who's a nurse in Missouri."
El-Sayed is the one who first denied having any family members in MB. Then @FreeBeacon found that his sister said their family has "long been" in MB.
And is he acknowledging here that his mom was in it?

ABDUL EL-SAYED: It's actually really quite beneath you, Mike. To call into question my loyalty to the Constitution... I am proud of America. I'm proud to be an American. I'm proud of our Constitution that guarantees all of us the right to pray as we choose to pray and the question that you would ask that I think is actually really quite shameful.

As I have been saying for 10 years now..
El-Sayed, repeating calls to abolish ICE, says that under INS "we were a lot more safe and secure when it came to immigration" compared to ICE.
9/11 happened under INS, which utterly failed to vet, process and track the 9/11 hijackers. It's one of the main reasons we replaced INS with ICE.

Abdul El-Sayed: "I carry dual citizenship."
@willcain: "His campaign says he misspoke. He isn't actually a dual citizen. Common slip of the tongue. Who hasn't accidentally claimed dual citizenship?"
His entire primary campaign was about Haley Stevens having dual loyalty to Israel because of AIPAC!
And El-Sayed has family members in MB, he’s written in support of MB, and he’s taken a ton of money from MB-affiliated donors
Chuck Ross retweeted
Oh, he's all upset about a supposed dual loyalty attack? This is from the guy who spent the entire primary attacking AIPAC as nothing but a servant of the Israeli government.
Chuck Ross retweeted
Ah well that's that I guess.

NEW YORK TIMES now confirming my reporting from weeks ago that El-Sayed signed a letter in support of the Muslim Brotherhood in 2012
(naturally not crediting the Free Beacon at all)
El-Sayed also refused to comment on letter to them!)

Detroit has the least talented and most biased reporters of any major city in the country. Case in point
For the first time in @metrotimes history, we’re no longer seeking comment from a candidate’s campaign because of repeated lies and bigoted attacks. That candidate is Mike Rogers, whose campaign keeps targeting Abdul El-Sayed’s Muslim faith. metrotimes.com/news/mike-rog…
El-Sayed's campaign is paying $7,500 per month ($97,500 total so far) to the pastor who organized this event. xitter.cf/AbdulElSayed/status/21…
I had the chance to sit down with a beautifully diverse group of faith leaders in Detroit, alongside the great Senator @ReverendWarnock.
As a man of faith, I know the foundational role that faith and spirit play in the lives of so many Michigan families. Our movement's vision is grounded in moral leadership, service, community, and justice for all under a Constitution which protects all of our rights, to pray or not to pray.
