Every team would be better off if everyone understood their role and embraced it.

June Jones is a an absolute legend. I’m so grateful that I’ve been able to learn the best offense in the world from him and others that worked/played for him. My goal is to carry on his legacy by growing the Run N Shoot and giving it the recognition it deserves.

Coach June; You changed my life. I wouldn't be where I am today or know what I know today without you. You were truly the best human, mentor, and coach. Knowing you were sick was tough. I'll miss you. Thank you for welcoming me to the 'Ohana all those years ago. We will all keep shootin'! You not only changed the game forever, you changed lives forever. I love you Coach... When adding a new play consider the following:
-amount of practice time it will take
-how to be successful vs every look a defense can give
-number of reps to get good at
-confidence level players will have come game time
-how much time it takes away from other plays

On September 18, Chisholm Trail senior QB Keaton Rose set a school record with 402 passing yards in a game.
Less than a month later, he was diagnosed with Leukemia.

Some say football is cyclical bc modern offenses have adopted a fullback & some formations that were prevalent in the 80s & 90s. The Run N Shoot was also prevalent in the 80s & 90s. If football really is cyclical then we need to see a resurgence of Run N Shoot teams.

Too many QBs learn to throw routes without understanding the SPLASH DOWN SPACES they attack.
One yard too short or deep can turn a completion into an INT.
Every route has a LID that limits its availability against coverage.

How do you treat the player who works hard all week and never hears his name on Friday night? How do you recognize them?
His experience matters, too.

Coaches, are we spending too much time watching film and not enough time teaching from it?
What's the ideal length of a high school position-group film session and what do effective film sessions look like?

You need to be mentally tough in order to be an OC/playcaller. No matter what there will always be players, coaches, and fans that think you need to do things differently. This becomes amplified when you are losing games. Have conviction in your beliefs and keep coaching.
