A great man, a great coach, and I will always be thankful for the time we had at Tarleton, at the house, or out running around. Your commitment and attention to detail was always something I admired about you! Thank you for everything. Love you, Rest east Marc. @_CoachMartinez_

One of the toughest parts of coaching is balancing the opportunity to help people who are struggling, while maintaining your program standards. If you have to lower your standards and accountability to keep them, you might not be able to help them.

Great leaders aren’t weak, soft or pushovers. They are demanding. They have high standards. They hold people accountable. They do it by connecting, by building relational trust, by showing they care, by living the standard and owning when they fall short. Be worth following.

OC and OL coach…Use center cadence instead of QB and get these advantages 1) OL hears better 2) OL can play with rhythm of the count 3) Center can be a better player because he controls snap and is first off ball 4) QB has less to think about 5) OL can master different rhythms

At a loss for words, but he once told me to write down and underline passages of the word to get a better understanding of the Bible just as if I was taking notes during film. A great young coach, husband, father, and man gone way too soon. love you man. R.I.P Coach Martinez🕊💜
