“Push Hands” is a fun competitive drill that teaches players how to efficiently apply force when upgrading hand placement.
Players learn how to shift their body to maintain a posture of strength all while staying connected to the ground.

🏈 A simple hack for building a powerful youth/feeder pipeline…
Create custom birthday cards with your helmet/logo and make them look official from your football program.
Then:
📅 Add every youth player’s birthday to your Google Calendar
✍️ Write a short personal card each month
🏫 Drop it off at their school/classroom
That’s it.
A parent stopped me today and said:
“My son was so excited to get that card… he still has it hanging on his wall.”
Coaches -
Never underestimate the power of making a young player feel seen.
Relationships > recruiting.
Who else is doing little things like this? 👇

Near foot lead shoulder punch.
Three-step rhythm.
Same foot, same shoulder.
Hardest way to hit anybody in football.
Second level:
Surround the linebacker with your feet.
Kyle Flood is back at C.O.O.L. Clinic 2026.

Third down detail.
Use cadence.
Quick set the neutral zone jump.
Adjacent linemen react.
Take the free five.
Drill it. Coach it.
Don’t miss cheap yards.

Better double teams start with cleaner footwork.
Near-foot lead helps linemen stay square, change direction faster, and climb more effectively.
Early lead.
Late fight.
Tie game.
One group held the line.

LB’s should hesitate to run downhill…
Linebackers don’t stay blocked —
You have to make them FEEL & FEAR you.
Physicality is a DECISION. #BTD

I just built an automated sports team newsletter system that is completely housed on Google. 🤯
The workflow:
1️⃣ Coach fills out a short Google Form on their phone.
2️⃣ Script grabs the data, pulls the season schedule, and calculates player stats.
3️⃣ Automatically formats a beautiful HTML email and blasts it to parents, media, players, community, etc.
Turning 45 minutes of Sunday busy work into a 2-minute post-game task.
It will be customizable to what you want to communicate or emphasize to the recipients.
Wrapping up the final template soon. Who wants it when it's done? 🙋♂️
