Pat Murphy on winning the World Series: “You got the right mix that decided they wanted to be uncommon... It's gotta be about team. You gotta care about your teammates. You really do. You don't have to like them. You have to understand what it takes to play winning baseball.”

The Rays believe in Strike one. They hit the FB. They run the bases well. They play good defense. Bottom half of order know who they are and execute. Move runners if they need to. More importantly they don't strike out!! Sometimes people complicate this game. They keep it simple

Earlier in the season, Brewer manager Pat Murphy pulled rookie Cooper Pratt for not fully running out a hit. Tonight, Murph pulled veteran William Contreras for not running out a ball to first. The Brewers win because the Standard is the Standard for rookies and vets. @Brewers

John Harbaugh on helping each person pursue their dreams while bringing everyone together. “I was thinking there's no "I" in team. Actually, there is. There are 53 I’s on this team...They all have dreams and hopes and ambitions...I want every dream you have. I want to help you make that dream come true.” You don't build a team culture by asking people to abandon their individuality, nor their ambitions. It’s built by meeting people where they are, caring about what/who they hope to become, and aligning those aspirations around something meaningful they can pursue together. People shouldn't have to choose between pursuing their own growth and contributing to something bigger. Great coaches help them do both. 🎥: NFL on NBC
