Despite what will be an unfortunate final score, thought the Mavs competed really well & played extremely well without Kyrie & Coop. This organization is clearly headed in the right direction! #MFFL
Seems like Dusty has taken his philosophy vs Arizona and has taught the Dallas guards to throw passes off the backboard to accommodate for Wembys rim protection!! Ball coach! #MFFL
Dusty using the zone to cause San Antonio to settle for 3’s and keep them out the paint was a great game plan
Was that Nembhard drive not the exact type of offensive extension they’ve made a point of emphasis this year?

Rick Carlisle on Dusty May entering his first year as an NBA coach:
"The lessons go on, even when you get a quarter century into it. I could tell you that. Dusty's an amazing coach. One of the best coaches in the world. He proved that last year. He's gonna mold this team into a team that has the identity of his Michigan teams, I think. I see a lot of similarities. They're disruptive. They're long. They're athletic. They play free. He really empowers his best players. They're gonna be very good."

Walter Clayton Jr. is scheduled to clear waivers today at 5 PM ET.
Teams interested in Clayton — barring an unexpected claim on his $4.2 million salary for 2026-27 — project 2025’s No. 18 overall pick to join Dallas on a two-way pact after clearing.

“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.”

Spoke with North Crowley coach Tommy Brakel, who has been pushing for shot clocks in UIL basketball for 15 years. His Panthers won the 2026 6A D1 title.
“It’s going to make the game so much better,” Brakel said. “Everybody thinks it’s going to make the game faster. No, it’s actually going to regulate tempo within the game. But it’s not going to make the game crazy." FULL STORY: star-telegram.com/sports/dfw…
