after grinding all day out, you need to take a rest to re-energise for the next day grind.

Imagine an AI agent that can act, pay and transact without waiting for human approval.
But who verifies its identity, pays its bills and gets its transactions processed?
That’s where identity, payments and network infrastructure come in.
@Concordium Agent Registry, x402 and concordium:native each play a different role.
The future of AI agents isn’t just intelligence.
It’s trusted infrastructure working together.
For AI agents to operate economically, three functions must work together without being confused with one another.
Identity → Concordium Agent Registry verifies the agent’s ownership and its association with a verified identity.
Payment → x402 carries the payment flow between the agent and the service provider.
Network fees → CCD powers transactions on Concordium, while a sponsor or facilitator can cover the fee on the agent’s behalf through a sponsored transaction.
These are separate functions, each solving a different part of the process. Identity establishes who stands behind the agent.
@x402scan handles payment.
concordium:native covers the cost of interacting with the network, even when the agent does not pay that fee directly.
That separation matters.
An agent’s ability to prove who stands behind it, pay for a service, and get its transaction processed are three distinct requirements.
@Concordium brings these components together without treating them as one system.
That is how the infrastructure for the agent economy needs to be designed: each function has a clear responsibility, and the connections between them are explicit.

prime time here we are.
you have it Izu.
payments become much more trustworthy when agents can prove who stands behind them and be held accountable for their actions

The next phase of Edel Markets is taking shape.
Private trading infrastructure on Canton was the foundation.
Now comes the liquidity required to turn that infrastructure into a serious market.
We've been working behind the scenes with some of the industry's most established players.
More to come Monday.
The pieces are coming together.

Strong infrastructure and deep liquidity are key to making private markets more accessible and efficient for institutions

Another Institutional Step Forward for Edel.
We're proud to partner with @flowdesk_co, bringing
institutional-grade market-making and deep liquidity
provision to Edel's markets on Canton.
Private markets. Institutional execution.
My answer: @Concordium , through the x402 integration.
Not because it’s the only answer.
Because it’s the only answer that solves it at the protocol level not as a feature, not as a layer on top, but as a condition of participation from day one.
Everything built on top of a weak identity layer inherits that weakness.
Everything built on #Concordium’s inherits the verification.

Follow-up for builders:
Name one project; protocol, startup, institution anywhere in the world that is seriously solving AI agent identity verification right now.
~Not theoretically.
~Actually building it.
If you can’t name one, that’s the most important answer in the thread.
Let us here you out👇
In 2023, stablecoin settlement volume quietly surpassed PayPal’s annual transaction total.
Most people missed it because nobody rang a bell.
~AI agents are about to do the same thing to human initiated payments.
And right now, not one of those agent transactions requires verified identity.
That gap is either the biggest risk in the financial system or the biggest opportunity for whoever closes it first.

sure. that's why traceable Identity is essential.
we need accountability at the end of the day.
now here comes the interesting thing with @concordium infrastructure, the use of ZK proof... a cryptographically privacy preserving approach keeping both humans and agents private by design>>>

this one now.
a clear separation of identity, payments and network fees is what makes a trustworthy agent economy possible tbh
