I have just shed tears of joy, overwhelmed with emotion.
I am thrilled to share that I will be attending Harvard.
I believe high achievers are made through the standards they set and the habits they maintain. When you expect more from yourself, you move differently. You stop relying on temporary motivation and start building the discipline to see things through.

God really will let your life speak for itself. you don’t have to convince anybody of what He’s doing for you.
Writing my paper made me realize how much I miss expressing myself on my Substack. I’ve been juggling school and CISSP studying, so writing for myself has taken a back seat. But this weekend, I’m posting an article. I have so many thoughts and topics I’m ready to explore.
I had a paper due today and helped my man with his paper too. I finally finished both, and now I’m going to bed. I am exhausted!

Exercise should be part of your daily hygiene like brushing your teeth and taking a shower.

“If you have the privilege of pursuing something you love, do not settle for merely being in the field. Master your craft. Excel in its technicalities, sharpen your judgment, and become so proficient that your competence speaks for itself. Passion may lead you to the door, but mastery is what earns you the right to stand confidently in the room. Never take the opportunity to become exceptional for granted.”
My favorite way to take up space in corporate America is to be articulate, exceptionally skilled, and ahead of the curve. The resentment can be loud, but so is my competence. It's satisfying to know that even the people who dislike me have to respect how well I do my job.

Once you’re in good physical and mental health, the hobbies will come back. Jealously guard your health.
Did! 💕
I wanna marry into a FUNCTIONAL family! 🥹♥️
The kind of family that has cookouts, game nights, holiday dinners, birthday parties, and family traditions. I wanna grab breakfast with my mother-in-law, go shopping with his sisters, laugh with his brothers, and build genuine relationships with his family.

We’re losing the ability to read beyond what is explicitly said. Context, subtext, implication, nuance, tone, these used to be things people naturally considered when interpreting communication. Now everything has to be taken literally and explained in the most explicit terms.

A lot of conversations fall apart because nuance is mistaken for inconsistency. People want everything to fit neatly into right or wrong, good or bad, when most issues are shaped by context, circumstance, and multiple truths existing at once.
I dropped my girls off, and another mom stopped me to ask where I shop for their clothes because they always look so cute. She was shocked when I told her I find so many of their cute pieces at TJ Maxx and Marshalls.
