It was fantastic to learn directly from the social media guru. A great discussion on managing a youtube channel. With @JMGardnerMD revealing all his "secrets" to the @DCF_path fellows!

This is incredible! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 While not as dramatic or directly life saving in nature, many similar stories/messages about avoiding diagnostic pitfalls and helpful pathology info for all on #pathtwitter as well! @EM_RESUS we should do some pathology-meets-ER tweetorials! – at River Forest, IL
Here’s a message that was sent to me by an ER resident physician in training who saved a patient’s life half way across the country from me. When people ask “why teach on social media?” This is why.

A 38 year old lady with longstanding ulcerative colitis. Some biopsy fragments show ulceration. One biopsy fragment includes a cluster of odd-looking cells in the lamina propria. Easy for many perhaps - but a potential pitfall for the unwary.

Today is #REDS4VEDS day! Wear your red in support of vascular Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (like the @pathologistmag team here!), but also – as diagnostic professionals – know that a little education can save a life. (1/6)

Having seen many a job talk, my best advice is to be yourself. The disasters are when a person looking at a clinician-educator job tries to do a purely research talk. Talk about something that is in your wheelhouse and related to the job you hope to do!
To those in #academic #pathology positions — how much does the job talk matter? My presentation anxiety is getting worse by the day leading up to my interviews, and I would appreciate some affirmation that a less than perfect presentation won’t destroy my interview.

The ASCP is excited to offer virtual or in-country scholarships for U.S.-based pathology residents and fellows to work with the Partners for Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment in Africa initiative sites. To learn more and apply by Dec. 3 go to bit.ly/2Yl1mh7.
You would be hard-pressed to find a more cutting-edge specialty than pathology! Advances in molecular pathology, digital pathology, artificial intelligence etc. are all helping to advance all subspecialties for the benefit of our patients! @RCPath #PathologyWeek #AllTogetherNow
Pathology is VERY cool! One of the coolest parts is molecular pathology! Identifying changes in proteins, molecules & the genetic code which cause disease is so helpful for diagnosis! AND it gives pathologists an opportunity to fight back🥊! @RCPath #PathologyWeek #AllTogetherNow
