It’s frustrating! But sometimes these OC’s overthink this stuff. Maybe lean on the OL Coach… the QB, get their perspectives!

This is the issue! Too much 5-man pro! They need to get to more sort protection. Will allow them dual read and have answers for these free runners.
Normally lineman are responsible for linemen in pass pro and running backs are responsible for anything second / third level (LBs / safeties) in 6 man protection .. 5 man is different - o line are responsible for the down lineman and perceived most dangerous blitz threat.. if defense blitzes opposite of the ID it makes the o line rules funky in 5 man pro

DAL has targeted 454 stop routes over the last 5 seasons, 27 more than AZ in second place. #Cowboys

Cowboys don't have enough solutions on offense. Green Bay finding success the same way Tampa Bay did. Good coaching is adjusting and counterpunching. Cowboys offense is just line-up-and-play right now. Sick when it works, but maddening when it runs itself into a brick wall.

Cowboys corner Joey Porter Jr. (questionable, ankle) is expected to play today vs Green Bay, per source.

Long-time NFL coach Mike Pettine is joining the Cowboys defensive staff, reuniting with coordinator Christian Parker. As the Packers defensive coordinator form 2018-20, Pettine gave Parker his first job in the NFL in 2019. When hired, Parker attempted to talk Pettine out of retirement. Now six weeks into the season, Parker has a veteran coach as a sounding board.
