The paper gain tax petition is now eligible to be placed on the agenda of the House of Representatives.
This obliges the House to formally consider and debate the issue.

WE ARE MAKING WAVES.
Petition signatures are up over +8K in the past two days. The biggest increase to far, crossing 35K in total.
I also received a reply from a senator:
“We are currently receiving many emails about Box 3, including yours. Unfortunately, we do not have enough time to respond to all emails personally. However, we will take your email into account during the consideration of the legislative proposal.”
Political parties are starting to tweet about it, and our major news sites are beginning to cover it.
The genie is out of the bottle.
Keep sharing. Spread the word. Unite, and continue to build a front our politicians can’t ignore.

Great read, surely worth your time as it perfectly describes how intrinsic value is the dog holder who goes for a walk with his dog. Market prices are the dog who is oftentimes far away the holder in both directions.

My understanding: defense tenders got delayed.
Mining and industrial however increased annuity revenue a lot (higher profit margin) and it does no show up in backlog.
Slowish backlog could mean slower short term growth, so they maintain guidance despite the good 1S2024.
