Me at work writing Kotlin code for the last year, feeling like a junior developer again:

I am going TOTAL garden geek tonight! 🌸 I bought seeds for 14 native Colorado flowering perennials and am creating a 38 column database with the information from the seed sellers. ChatGPT is doing a lot of heavy lifting for me right now 💪

Got a furnace inspection on House 1 today for the first time since my contract inspections, and it looks like I am going to have to get it replaced... Learn from my mistake and have a certified HVAC technician do an inspection. There goes ALL of my tax refund 😮‍💨

Thank you @Codecademy for including a section in your React Native course on #accessibility, and a link to @kulkarniankita9's talk from @appjsconf 2019! Does have recommendations for newer talks to watch as well? I'd like to share them with my team. youtube.com/watch?v=S3DzcCrE…

Turned an old pillowcase into a hand made neck tie last night 🧵 This was a fun #sewing practice project, and I’m super happy with how it turned out!

Decided to furnish my basement with an Arabic sofa. I've been doing a lot of floor sitting lately and this just felt right.

It’s time for an OOP refresher! Been spending an hour a day with this book, and highly recommend it for any software devs looking for a programming book that isn’t dry and colorless 💯

Really proud of this one! Mom’s birthday is in early March, so on Wednesday I created my first sewing pattern and sewed this hummingbird apron to send to her 🧵 🪡

Dodged a bullet at my furnished MTR after a tenant asked for a discounted stay. When I got the sense they were going to be high maintenance, I dug into their Airbnb reviews further and denied their stay after my suspicions were confirmed. Then, they showed their true colors…
An Airbnb message. Taylor, the potential guest, asks for a discount. I explain why that’s not possible.

I inform Taylor that I am unable to rent to them because I’d a negative review they received and wish them luck finding a place to stay. They reply “Good luck to you and your crappy houses”

The Kroger Shell gas station is $2.19 a gallon in Colorado 🤯 With fuel rewards, I only paid $2.09 a gallon... only $26 to fill up my car. I remember paying $75 in Los Angeles to fill up in 2021... at one of the cheapest gas stations, too...

Just confirmed that the two units will also be fully booked in January! And only have the last 13 days in February in the upper level unbooked (with plenty of time to get somebody in). The flywheel is gaining momentum, y'all!

"You have to fill your cup. You then give away the overflowing, but you keep a cupful for yourself." - @Wynonna With tears in my eyes, these words have never rang so true to me as they have tonight. It feels good to be able to help a long-time friend during a time of need.
