Itโs extremely disheartening to see some Jewish Dems treat voting for *ANY* Rep (especially federally) as an unforgivable sin, even if they ever happen to have a Dem candidate running in their district whoโs openly hostile towards Jews. Abstention is the most theyโll do.
>Be called Third Way, shorthand for center-left
>Always support the Dem, even if the Dem in question wants to (and is actively working to) extinguish your movement
Ok.
If this is just some rumor made without concrete proof ever surfacing up, Haleyโs fiance should sue him for defamation for all heโs worth.

This statement is somehow worse than if I personally made out with every single member of Balad sitting in the Knesset.
Statement from DNC Jewish American Council Leadership regarding @AbdulElSayed
Liberals donโt realize this, but this is what theyโve stereotyped as an EXTREMELY REPUBLICAN way of thinking.
โ[x] never happened to me, so it canโt be real / isnโt a serious issue.โ
To get ahead of this before Tuesday:
- The Dems will win the House by enough to make it so their radical fringes have little leverage procedurally.
- The Senate will stay (R).
Thatโs all.

Haley Stevens was going to do a Democratic unity rally with Abdul El-Sayed and James Clyburn where she was going to encourage her supporters, many of whom have serious reservations about El-Sayed, to vote for him.
This was very important for El-Sayed, because Stevens is popular among Jewish and black Michigan Democrats and Clyburn is an icon among black voters nationwide. El-Sayed has weakness with both of these groups and needs to shore them up going into election day.
Stevens's condition was that he make an unambiguous, unqualified condemnation of the antisemitic rhetoric his friends, supporters and surrogates have been using, including in ads run in Michigan.
El-Sayed refused to do this, and instead asked Stevens not to appear at the event. At that point, Stevens realized that he was not interested in unity with her or her supporters and that she could no longer support him for Senate.
El-Sayed is an antisemite. He is friends with antisemites Hasan Piker and Cenk Uygur. He will not condemn them. He will not condemn the awful things they say.
He has had multiple opportunities to condemn their hateful rhetoric, and he always says: "He is not part of a campaign, nobody speaks for me but me, and I'm not here to talk about that."
That's not good enough. If that is how a Republican talked about Nick Fuentes or Richard Spencer, it would be the biggest controversy in the race. The fact that so many Democrats are willing to tolerate this from Abdul El-Sayed is an indictment of the entire party.
There is no coalition that can include both the Jewish Democratic members of Temple Israel and supporters of the Hezbollah terrorist who tried to murder their preschool children. Abdul El-Sayed made a decision about who he wanted in his tent.
Haley Stevens was late to realize it, but it is admirable that she finally decided to be an upstander instead of a bystander. No Nazis in the US Senate.
Should AES win, itโs going to be absolutely fucking hilarious to watch him get congratulated by Schumer only to have him vote to replace Schumer with someone else for Senate Democratic leadership.
Pronouns in bio has been a pretty good (albeit imperfect) heuristic on Twitter that someone is more likely than not to be supportive of Hamas and/or their overarching goals, even if indirectly.
The problem is that nobody on *my* side of the aisle has made a succinct, effective counter to people who say โI donโt hate Jews, just Zionistsโ that would convince even the densest individual.
I find it pathetic that so many Democrats have failed to understand that theyโre supporting a man for US Senate who has repeatedly trafficked in antisemitism and platformed people who want to kill Jews.
What the hell are we doing here, people? Youโre mad at Stevens for standing against someone who has repeatedly put an entire community at risk and refused to condemn antisemitism. The other day he couldnโt condemn an ad supporting him that used antisemitic dog whistles.
If this was any other community youโd all be outraged. But with Jews, itโs somehow fine?
Itโs all so morally deranged.
With the Haley Stevens kerfuffle, itโs probably a good time as any to say that the โvote blue, no matter whoโ mantra is something I never subscribed to. Itโs mindlessness packaged as virtue.
Huh? If El-Sayed loses, how does that make him the โright choiceโ in hindsight?
Turns out a majority of Democratic primary voters were smarter than the people outside MI telling them what they should do in the senate race. Win or lose on Tues, El-Sayed was the right choice. Whether you agree with him on everything or not, he isnโt a lying fraud pretending to be something heโs not.

Everyone at this party asks why I'm dressed as the squirrel from Sword and the Stone and then they walk away when I call them a zionist pedophile.

Change in party vote share compared to 2022.
Despite all the pre-election talk of the Israeli left's comeback, the Democrats actually fell short of Labor & Meretz's combined 2022 numbers.
Iโm fucking tired of Jewish antizionist leftists reinventing from first principles the Christian doctrine of โoriginal sinโ.
Judaism isnโt discount Christianity without Jesus.
