I don't really want to make a game, but I really want this game to exist and I'm not sure anyone else could make it.

Bend, Oregon man who shot and killed a shooter at his daughters' school speaks out, praises female teacher for fighting the shooter, allowing him to have a clear shot.
Kaylub Giamanco says he is haunted by the sound of children pleading for their lives.
He also praised the teacher for grabbing the gunman's weapon, allowing him to take a shot at the shooter.
"I want to recognize [the teacher]. She gave me the opportunity to make my shot without losing my life..."
"I swung the door open, and I stepped in, and I fired, and they dropped to the ground... I looked down at the gunman, and he was scrambling for his weapon. And I looked at him, and I shot him 2 more times..."
We have a lot to discuss.
New VLOG is dropping next week.
Season 2 Reflection & Season 3 Preview.
We will also be piloting a new podcast format focused on recapping the Season 2 launch this weekend. More content, more context, more WARDOGS.
An indie RTS wave is upon us.
Defilade. ZeroSpace. Falling Frontier. GroundInFlames. And a dozen more.
I did deep research on 16 emerging indie RTS titles. Four of them alone account for over 1.3 million Steam wishlists.
Every game broken down: why it stands out, and what it says about where the genre is going.
All in the next Tactical Gaming EXSUM on Monday. Sign up to get it in your inbox, and catch up on the first two installments while you're there (first reply).

JUST IN: Palmer Luckey's genetically modified military dog startup, Warhound, comes out of stealth, aiming to create enhanced canines for the U.S. military.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This is NOT Palmer's company at all, his company Anduril is only supplying the tech for the dogs, and this is a wholly owed Collosal entiity

Pretty bummed to see WARDOGS in the hurt locker. Between the Season 2 progression and balance stuff plus the region locking move to combat cheaters, reviews slipping into "Mixed" territory isn't really a surprise.
Still my main squeeze for the foreseeable future, though.
Also a cool realtime use-case of my content market research app. The WARDOGS Dossier automatically updated with the relavent time-sequences Intel items, labeled each appropriately and served the analysis, and called APIs where able to fact check claims and assumptions.
That it caught the sentiment shift item this morning informed by a steam review floor break is really cool.
