SOMEONE GAVE JEV $10,000 TO TRADE BITCOIN JEV is a new kind of AI built to make decisions rather than generate content. You give it a set of possible actions, feed it information, and it decides which action to take. For Bitcoin trading, those actions could be buy, sell, hold, add risk or reduce risk. Feed it price data, funding rates, open interest, liquidity, macro data and analysis from other AI models. JEV weighs that information, picks an action and gives it a confidence score. An LLM could analyze the market and come up with possible trades and explain it with paragraphs of text. JEV simply picks from those options and uses code executes the trade. Someone has now given JEV $10,000 to see how well that works trading Bitcoin.

FRUIT FLY BRAIN MINES BITCOIN AT POTENTIAL 10X ASIC EFFICIENCY Introducing HashFly by @FutureBit, an experimental Bitcoin miner based on a reconstructed fruit fly brain using 2,914 real neuron connections to run SHA-256. The team says that if the system could be scaled using actual organic neurons, it could theoretically hash at roughly 1 W/TH, around 10x more energy efficient than leading 3nm silicon ASICs. For now, it’s an experiment. But biologically inspired Bitcoin mining is officially a thing.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The claims describe a humorous meme visualization of simulated fruit fly connectome data deciding minimal SHA-256 attempts, not a real experimental miner or product by FutureBit. shop.futurebit.io research.google/blog/a-connect… theflyminer.xyz x.com/FutureBit/stat…

Last year, a Bitcoin mining company commissioned this satellite readings from this superemitter landfill emitting 1.5 tonnes of methane every single hour! Mitigating these emissions has the impact of - taking 263,413 cars off the road - or ... - planting 1,130,040 acres of US forest One year later, the project just took another step forward to viability. The landfill owner wants to move ahead with a Bitcoin mining solution, and the economics pan out for everyone. This is one of 5 landfills now in an advanced stage or discussions with the landfill owner. Our vision is not that Bitcoin no longer gets energy FUD, it's that Bitcoin becomes widely recognized as a powertool of environmental and social justice First step is to get the world's first project started on a landfill that's currently venting its methane. So, LFG! = landfill gas

To mine one full Bitcoin per day, you need roughly 2,000,000 TH/s of hashrate. That’s about 3,555 Antminer S23 Hydros running 24/7. Nearly 19 megawatts of continuous power. Most people still picture Bitcoin mining as some guy with a computer in his garage. The reality: • Megawatts of power. • Thousands of machines. • Industrial-scale infrastructure. All to produce ~1 $BTC per day.

Adam Back Warns Against Blind Faith In Satoshi's Bitcoin Predictions Blockstream CEO, Adam Back (@adam3us), says Bitcoin's creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, should not be treated as an unquestionable authority. The Blockstream CEO pointed to several early technical predictions that proved incorrect. Satoshi initially underestimated some challenges surrounding Bitcoin's long term scaling. Nakamoto later discussed Layer 2 systems and even Bitcoin banks. The Blockstream argues Bitcoin should evolve around mathematics, security and present day realities.

Lets see how resilient STRC is ... 11.5% pa yield.. how? Has always been my question .... We had ftx burn us the last round... Dont tell me Saylor is another version of Madoff. Btc is Btc.
🚨 SOMETHING MIGHT HAVE BROKEN INSIDE MICHAEL SAYLOR’S BITCOIN MACHINE. $STRC was designed to stay near $100 forever. Strategy launched it in July 2025, raised $2.5 BILLION from investors, and used that money to buy more Bitcoin. In return, investors got an 11.5% yearly yield paid monthly in cash. The entire structure depended on one thing: keep the price near $100. If STRC dropped below $100, Strategy could raise the dividend to attract buyers back. That is why STRC stayed stable for months. Now the system is cracking and STRC just dropped to $94.84. But Why? Three things hit at the same time • Bitcoin dumped toward $67K • Strategy sold Bitcoin for the first time in 4 years • Investors are now questioning how sustainable the dividends really are The company sold 32 BTC worth $2.5 MILLION specifically to help fund STRC dividend payments. That may sound small. But it completely breaks the never sell Bitcoin narrative Saylor built for years. Markets are now pricing in the possibility that Strategy may eventually need to sell more BTC to support nearly $1.7 BILLION in yearly preferred dividend obligations. At the same time, Strategy refused to raise the STRC dividend above 11.5% for the fourth straight month even as competitors started offering higher yields. Strive is now offering 13% on a competing product. The entire trade now depends on one thing: Bitcoin going higher. Because if BTC keeps falling, pressure on the entire Strategy structure starts rising very fast.

Interesting, pretty SpaceX would be swamped by offers from nations across the world.
It’s no secret that we intend to launch Starship a lot, targeting thousands of flights per year. That cadence will require the ability to launch from many different locations, so we are constantly exploring to find viable sites to expand Starship operations in the future, both domestically and internationally

Buried on page 230 of the CLARITY Act is arguably the biggest win for the digital asset industry in the entire 309-page bill. Section 604: The Blockchain Regulatory Certainty Act. If you build open-source blockchain software and don't have unilateral control over users' funds, you are not a money transmitter. Not under FinCEN rules. Not under federal criminal law. Not under state registration requirements. Writing code ≠ money transmission. Building self-custody tools ≠ money transmission. Running node infrastructure ≠ money transmission. For years, developers have operated under the threat that publishing code could expose them to money transmission charges. Section 604 eliminates that ambiguity entirely. It establishes a clear, codified legal protection for the people who actually build the open-source infrastructure this industry runs on. Senate Banking markup is Thursday. Read the bill.
